Kai wakes up to the smell of pizza, he opens his eyes and looks around the room seeing Luka nowhere to be seen. Mako opens the door and sees Kai awake.

“Morning sleepy head,” Mako says smiling to see him.

“Where’s Luka?” Kai asks rubbing his eyes because of the light seeping in for the hallway.

Mako rolls his eyes, “He’s in the kitchen eating, mom ordered pizza and he kinda got stuck out there because of the girls,” He says walking over to Kai, Kai smiles and swings his legs over. Mako stands waiting for him as Kai puts on some pants, He turns around and smiles at Mako.

“Let’s go,” Kai says wrapping his arm around Mako’s neck as he walks past him, Mako smiles and walks with him. Kai messes with Mako’s hair, “Your hairs to short to mess up,” Kai says pinching Mako’s ear softly.

“Hey,” Mako says pushing his shoulder against Kai’s arm making him let go, Luka sits at the island as the girls sit on the counter in front of him. Mom leans against the other counter laughing at the girls as they make faces and shove food at Luka.

“How was your nap?” Mom asks jokingly as she eats her pizza.

Kai smiles and shakes his head looking over at the girls, “What are you two doing to Luka?” He asks grabbing a plate, they look at each other and laugh.

“We’re playing a game,” Ember says as Kai looks at Luka’s face, he looks at the girls with an annoyed face.

“Luka said we could,” Amber says trying not to get in trouble, Kai sighs.

“Come on Luka, let’s go wash your face,” Kai says grabbing Luka’s hand and dragging him off the chair. Luka smiles as he catches himself and follows Kai to the bathroom, Kai turns on the sink and grabs a towel from the shelf. Luka grabs a little stool from the shelf and sits down in front of the closed door. Kai gets the towel a little wet with warm water and pulls Luka’s face towards him, wiping the pizza off Luka’s face. Luka becomes bored and starts to tap his foot, Kai tries to hurry. Luka crosses his eyes and smiles, Kai smiles and laughs.

“Are you almost done?” Luka asks sitting there still like, Kai nods wiping more and more off. Luka looks down and reaches his hands out grabbing Kai’s waist and pinching it.

“Hey, watch the hands,” Kai says sarcastically as he smiles, Luka squeezes them tighter as Kai blushes.

“You’re cute,” Luka says as Kai blushes more.

“You’re cute too, but you’re cuter without pizza on your face,” Kai says wiping his face again, Luke smirks and pulls Kai’s face down with the collar of his shirt.

“Why don’t you lick it off then,” Luka says flirtatiously, Kai’s face turns a bright red as he shifts his eyes away. He looks back and moves his face closer to Luka’s, Luka blushes waiting for Kai to lick him. Kai smiles and moves his hand, quickly wiping the last bit of pizza off with the towel. Luka sighs with a smile, Kai turns and washes the towel off in the sink. Luka stands up silently and grabs Kai’s waist quickly, pulling him closer to him. Luka smiles and licks Kai’s cheek, Kai blushes and turns to look at Luka, “Sorry I couldn’t resist,” He says smiling and staring down at Kai.

Kai smiles back and blushes more turning back to the sink, “Damn, that was so cute,” Luka thinks covering his mouth as his face turns a bright red, he turns and looks at them in the mirror. Luka smiles as he holds Kai close to him, Kai looks up and sees them in the mirror.

“You look really cute today,” Luka says as Kai turns and looks at him, He stands on his tiptoes and kisses Luka. Luka kisses him back and holds him up, Kai blushes as Luka steps back pushing up against the door. He slides his hand down as Kai wraps one of his legs around Luka’s legs, Luka grabs his leg and lifts it up a little. Kai blushes and pulls away, Luka smiles, “You’re amazing,” He says continuing to hold Kai tightly around the waist.

Kai smiles back as he backs away from Luka, letting him stand up, “You are too,” He says not knowing what else to say, “We should probably go back out there now,” He continues as he turns the sink off, Luka nods and moves away from the door. Kai opens the door pushing the stool with it as they both walk out.

“Finally, you guys were taking forever,” Ember says as they walk back into the kitchen, Amber sits on the counter shoving pizza in her own face.

Mom smiles seeing the boys, “So, what do you guys want to do?” She asks standing up straight as she looks around at all of them.

“Fort!” The girls yell getting excited, Mom smiles.

“OK, if we’re gonna do a fort then we’re gonna do it right. You two go grab blankets and pillows, Mako go pull out some chairs from the basement, Kai and Luka, you two go start setting up upstairs. I’ll make snacks and will be up in a little bit to help,” Mom says as she shoo’s them out of the kitchen, Amber and Ember run off to collect blankets and pillows. Mako heads to the stairs to get the chairs, Kai and Luka hurry upstairs.

A while later Mom heads upstairs with the snacks….

“How’s the fort coming along?” She asks making it to the top of the stairs.

“It’s great, Luka thought of a cool idea to have the tv inside so we can watch a movie,” Ember says popping her head out of the fort, Mako, Kai and Luka continue to work on the outside as the girls get comfy inside.

Mom sets the snacks down on the table, “What snack did you make?” Mako asks quietly as he continues to work.

“Just some fruit, chips, dip, snack things,” Mom replies smiling towards Mako, he nods, not making eye contact. Mom shrugs and walks over to the opening, “How is it in there?” She asks bending down and looking at the girls.

“Amazing!” They say excitedly, as they fall back into the pile of pillows behind them. Kai finishes what he was doing and goes over to help Mako, Luka smiles watching them work together as he also finishes up. Kai smiles as Mako finishes and pats his head.

“Hey, I should be the one patting your head. I am older then you,” Kai says sarcastically as he pats Mako’s head.

“Yeah well, you’re shorter then me so,” Mako says messing with Kai’s hair, Kai laughs and pokes Mako in the sides making him jump, “Alright that’s it,” Mako says jokingly as he tickles Kai’s neck, Kai laughs as he smooshes his face into his chest causing a double chin. Mako laughs at Kai’s face and stops, Kai smiles pinching Mako’s cheek. Luka watches them with Mom.

“Have they always been like this?” Luka asks looking over at mom for a second then back at the boys.

“Yeah, they’ve always been really close. Kai did help raise Mako, so Mako is very attached to Kai and doesn’t really like other people around him. I’m surprised he doesn’t get jealous over you, means he likes you and he doesn’t like many people,” Mom says setting her hand on Luka’s shoulder, Luka smiles and looks at Mako.

“Does he have many friends?” Luka asks, Mom looks at Mako and frowns.

“No, he doesn’t have any friends. He’s not good at talking to people, so he just doesn’t. It makes him physically sick to talk to people, he throws up sometimes or just gets headaches. He was never exposed to people, other then me and Kai, when he was younger,” Mom says tearing up but not letting the tears fall.

“He seems good around me and the girls,” Luka says looking at Mom.

“Yeah, he’s not close with the girls and doesn’t talk to them unless Kai is there and with you like I said I’m surprised he likes you. I think it’s because you’re really close to Kai and Kai really cares about you, and you’ve been around since Mako was born. That might have something to do with it,” Mom says smiling again as Kai looks over at them.

“Are you staying in the tent?” Kai asks looking at Mom.

“I might, but I have a lot of work to do and wouldn’t wanna ruin your guys fun,” Mom replies as Kai and Mako calm down.

“Are you staying?” Mako asks looking at Kai, Kai thinks and looks over at Luka. Luka shrugs his shoulders, Kai rolls his eyes and smiles.

“I’ll think about it,” Kai says, “If Luka doesn’t want to, then he and I will stay in my room again,” He says Looking at Mako, Mako rolls his eyes.

“Okay, if you’re staying then I will too but if not then I’ll sleep in my room,” Mako says looking at Luka then away, Luka stands there confused.

“Did I do something, why did he look at me like that. I don’t want him to hate me but I also wanna have alone time with Kai,” Luka thinks smiling trying not to show weakness, Kai and Mako walk over to the other side of the tent. Kai, Luka, and Mako all crawl in and get comfy on the pillows. Mom grabs the tray of snack and hands them in, Kai grabs them and sets them down in front of everyone. The girls get excited and grab some snacks stuffing their faces, Kai snuggles up with Luka. Mako sighs with a smug face, Luka kisses Kai’s head.

A while later, after playing a few board games…..

“Ok girls time for bed, you have school early tomorrow. You too Mako,” Mom says kissing them goodnight, “Kai and Luka, get to bed at a reasonable time please,” She says kissing them both on the head, Mom leaves and heads downstairs.

“I think me and Luka are gonna sleep in my room, we’ll all hang out tomorrow after school though. We just need some time to rest,” Kai says kissing the girls heads, Mako looks at Kai whos trying to kiss him goodnight.

“I’m sleeping in my room then,” Mako says as Kai kisses his cheek, Kai backs up and sighs. He smiles and then climbs out of the fort, Luka hugs the girls as they sleeply hug him back.

“Night night Luka and Kai,” They say waving goodbye, Luka smiles also climbing out of the tent. Mako follows shortly behind.

“I’m sorry Mako, I just want to spend some time alone with Luka,” Kai says hugging Mako as they walk down the stairs, Luka stays behind a little trying not to get involved. Mako growls at Kai and storms off away to his room, Luka hurries to Kai’s side.

“How did it go?” Kai asks rubbing Kai’s back trying to calm him down.

“It didn’t go great but it’s fine, he just gets easily jealous over me when people are around,” Kai says taking a deep breath.

Luka stays quiet as they walk into Kai’s room, Kai shuts the door and Luka grabs him from behind, turning him around. Kai blushes as Luka’s face is only a few inches away, Luka pushes him against the door and kisses Kai softly. Kai blushes heavily as he becomes warm, Kai pushes Luka away and catches his breath.

“I need to take this off first,” Kai says pulling his shirt over his head and throwing it towards the closet, Luka smiles at the confident Kai.

“I’ve never seen you so excited and confident to do this with me,” Luka says walking back to Kai.

“Confident, this is not confidence it’s just me getting to warm-” Kai says as Luka cuts him off with a kiss, Kai doesn’t mind and kisses back still blushing really hard. Luka pushes Kai to the bed and leans down on him.

“This is better, my neck was getting sore from bending down to reach you,” Luka says jokingly as he kisses Kai again.

“Hey, I’m not that short. My neck was hurting too,” Kai says whimpering, he smiles and kisses Luka, Luka blushes as Kai picks up some tricks from him. Kai moves his tongue around in circles not knowing what else to do, Luka notices and touches his tongue to Kai’s. Kai blushes and pulls away a little but then becomes comfortable as Luka starts to grind on him, Kai moans quietly as they continue to kiss.
