Well, whoever says this has a very cynical point of view. Everything is weird. 

Why do some men recoil at physical contact with each other and see being gay as weakness? Why do some women think they have to be a certain weight in order to look good? Why do some children hate vegetables? Why do cars use gasoline instead of water which is easily available? Why do some people hate each other for the pigment of their skin? Why do students need to learn Algebra and Calculus if they don't want a job in engineering? 

If you think about it, everything is weird. It's just that the furry kind of weird is just a different brand of weird you can't really find anywhere else. It's a kind of weird that makes furries happy and it's the kind of weird that doesn't hurt anything. 

Recently, I heard something I never thought possible. "I can tolerate Nazis more than I can furries." Now, not only is that a terrible comparison, but I asked, "what exactly did furries do wrong?" The person shrugged and said back, "I dunno, I just hate animals." 

If they want to hate animals, that's perfectly fine (I just hope they don't have a pet at home). But why compare some anthro animal fans to Nazis? That's awful! The furry fandom is not based around the eradication of a religion and has done more good than harm. I admit, a few members are actually willing to hurt people but that isn't the overall fandom. 

Furries have raised thousands of dollars to Humane societies and for children's hospitals and that person dares to compare furries to Nazis? Do any of you remember Fernando's Cafe in Pittsburgh? The place run by a nice Brazilian man who defended some furries from a moron throwing a brick at them? The man who suffered a fractured skull to protect his customers? That man's shop was about to close from debt before furs remembered his good deed and all chipped in a donation totaling to over $23,000. 

How can someone compare some animal artists to Nazis? What have furries done that leads someone to compare them to Nazis? Actually, the real issue is that they hate animals and think that animals and furries are the same and that they are as bad as Hitler, so I won't rant about that here.
