The Dixmoor Riot took place in 1964 and was caused bc a black woman was accused of stealing gin from a liquour store and was beaten by the store owners before the police took her to the hospital, which essentially lead to a lot of protesters outside the store the following day and ended up as a riot. So all that yall need to gather from this is that dean is racist ;D
