hi.
this comic is incredibly personal and important to me. it kind of represents a lot to me. i didn't work on it for... 2 years? 3 years? because i was going through a kind of metamorphosis. i moved to korea and started teaching. i started to question everything about myself. and as a result, i stopped making art. i didn't draw more than a handful of sketches in the first year i lived in korea.
near the end of 2018 i started drawing again, as a daily practice, and it naturally led me back to this comic.
you can see from the pages that it was a learning process again. i had to relearn how to use my materials and how to draw. i'm still not happy with the level to which these pages are rendered but i'm just grateful to have finished them.
