Luka kisses Kai cheek as he buttons his pants, “We should get going, school ends soon,” Luka says sliding one of his hands into Kai’s back pocket.

Kai laughs, “What are you doing that feels weird,” He says blushing a little, Luka smirks as Kai checks the time, “You’re right, we should go. Do you wanna drive?” Kai asks looking up at Luka.

“I can, it doesn’t matter to me,” Luka says taking his hand out of Kai’s pocket, Kai walks over to his desk and grabs the keys. Both of them leave the room and head towards the garage, Kai grabs his shoes and sits down, putting them on. He ties them quickly as Luka slides his boots on, they both walk outside and get in the car quickly.

“Did you check what movies are on?” Kai asks starting the car, Luka shakes his head.

“No, I forgot. I’ll do it now,” Luka says grabbing out his phone, Kai pulls out onto the main road and heads down the street.

A few minutes pass of Kai and Luka looking at movie options…

“I think this one looks good,” Kai says pointing at the screen, Luka nods and clicks on it booking five seats.

“I reserved some seats for three-thirty,” Luka says setting his phone in the pocket of the door, Kai smiles as they pull into the school parking lot, “Does Mako also go here?” He asks as they pull up to the door.

“No, his school is just down the road from here,” Kai says as the girls run out the door, Luka smiles as the girls hop in the car.

“Luka!” The girls yell as they sit down.

“Glad to see you too,” Kai says as they buckle and laugh, Kai pulls out of the parking lot and heads down the road.

“Why didn’t mommy pick us up today?” Amber asks as Ember watches the cars pass.

“Because Luka and I are taking you guys to a movie and mom still had some work to do,” Kai says pulling up to mako’s school, he parks in front of the school. Mako walks out quickly and gets to the car, he opens the door and rolls his eyes, “Hey, Ember could you move to the back please?” Kai asks turning back and looking at her, she nods and unbuckles. Ember quickly moves to the back followed by Amber.

Mako gets in the car and slams the door, “Why are you picking us up?” He asks dropping his backpack on the ground next to him.

“Because we’re going to a movie and mom is still at work,” Kai says starting to drive, “How was detention?” He asks looking at Mako through the rearview mirror. Mako rolls his eyes and doesn’t answer. Kai sighs, “At least put on your seat belt,” Kai says hurrying to the cinema, Mako growls as he buckles.

“How come he was in detention?” Luka asks looking over at Kai, Mako rolls his eyes again.

“Why does it matter to you,” Mako says turning his body so it was facing the window, Kai looks back at him.

“He doesn’t participate and he fights with the teachers when they try to talk to him,” Kai says looking over at Luka then back to the road, “Sometimes he swears and throws things,” He continues as Mako tries to turn his body as much as possible.

“He’s pretty feisty for such a shy kid,” Luka says looking back at him, the girls nod and giggle.

Kai pulls up to the movie theater and parks in front of the doors, “Ok, girls you guys go in with Mako and get our tickets, then go get in line for food and figure out what you want. Luka and I are gonna go park the car,” Kai says as the girls unbuckle quickly and jump out of the car, Mako unbuckles and gets out of the car, slamming the door.

“Why is he so grumpy?” Luka asks as Kai pulls away and looks for a parking spot.

“I don’t think he likes anymore, he seems very annoyed when you’re around,” Kai says parking the car, he turns and looks at Luka.

“Well, he’s gonna need to get used to me cause I’m gonna be around a lot,” Luka says laughing, Kai smiles and laughs. He leans over in his chair and kisses Luka, Luka smiles, “you ready to get out of the car?” Luka asks as Kai pulls away slowly.

“I don’t think it a good idea to leave them in there alone for too long, so yeah I’m ready to go...I guess,” Kai says taking the keys out, Luka smiles as Kai gets out of the car. Luka grabs his phone and gets out too, Kai locks the car and grabs Luka’s hand as they walk towards the building. Luka blushes a little as people stare at them, Kai doesn’t even notice and just keeps walking. Finally, they reach the door and hurry inside and see the kids at the food stand.

“What are you guys getting?” Luka asks as they come up behind them, the girls turn looking at them and start shouting what they want. Mako walks up to the desk and orders, the girls hear him ordering and run up to the desk. They start to tell the man what they want, Kai and Luka smile as they look at the menu.

Once everyone got their order, they all headed to the theater and found their seats. Luka sits down next to Kai and then Mako sits next to Kai, both the girls sit down next to Luka. As the movie starts Kai lifts the armrest dividing him and Luka’s chair and moves closer. Luka smiles as Kai takes Luka’s arm and wraps it around him, he then lays down on his chest.

“You’re so cute,” Luka says quietly so just Kai would hear him, Kai blushes and moves his head on Luka’s chest. Mako looks over at them and growls, he turns and slowly falls asleep.

“This movie is boring,” Kai whispers as he tries to hold in his laughter, Luka nods.

“It looked like a good movie, but I guess not,” Luka says rubbing Kai’s back.

Kai looks over at the girls and smiles, “It looks like the girls are enjoying it though,” He says getting comfortable on Luka’s chest. He almost falls asleep but keeps himself awake, Kai moves so his body was facing the back of the chair. Kai looks up at Luka’s chin and kisses it making Luka smile, Kai leans his head back and tickles Luka’s neck making him laugh a little.

“Shh,” The girls say as they stare at the movie screen, zoned out. Luka and Kia look at each other and try not to laugh.

“They’re so cute,” Luka says looking at them, Kai nods.

“What about me,” Kai says sarcastically as he continues to stare up at Luka’s chin, Luka looks down with a smile.

“Oh, you. You’re definitely cuter,” Luka says kissing the tip of Kai’s nose, Kai blushes as he shoves his face into Luka’s shirt.

“I was being sarcastic,” Kai says as Luka smiles knowing he embarrassed Kai.

“I know, but I just like seeing you flustered,” Luka says kissing the top of Kai’s head.

Kai moves so his face was leveled with Luka’s, “Same here,” He says kissing Luka’s lips, he slides his tongue in a little then pulls away. Luka blushes hard and hugs Kai so his face was in Luka’s shirt, “Hey I wanna see your cute face,” Kai says laughing a little.

“Wait until we get home,” Luka whispers into Kai’s ear.

The girls lean over, “SHHH,” They say as they sit back down, Luka smiles as he looks over at them.

“Sorry, Kai was just being a little loud,” Luka says holding his laughter, trying not to get shhed again.
