Now we get to all the pink!

I'm trying to see how much I can say without spoiling anything that'll happen later.

Anyway! We get to see both main characters! Mnemosyne (the pink lady), and Ambrosia (not pink).

I struggled for a while with Ambrosia's name, wanting to keep something Greek but not overly complicated to pronounce (yes, Ambrosia is Greek as far as I know, I looked it up). And what Ambrosia is is some type of food or drink that the Gods consume that grants immortality/longevity to them. It's also used in other things depending which version of whatever myths you read but basically I've come to the conclusion that this Ambrosia makes you immortal (for all I know the real thing could've been that weird fruit salad thing you hear people talk about in sitcoms of whatever).

Also I came across something mentioning Ambrosia being a nymph that was killed by some crazy guy called Lycurgus (along with the guy's son who apparently the guy mistook for ivy) and was turned into a grapevine (because this whole thing happened because Lycurgus was an enemy of Dionysus, god of wine and other things, and hated his followers so she turns into a grapevine after he imprisons Dionysus' followers and kills her and his son).

I don't know how you can mistake your son for an ivy plant but hey, it's Greek mythology and we all know how crazy that is.

I also did find a tidbit stating that Ambrosia, as a grapevine, restrained and killed crazy Lycurgus so y'know. Take this all with a grain of salt.

I wasn't sure what I wanted to do for the background/environment that is the rest of Hades so I went with a fiery-looking bg. This will probably change later tho as in my research I've come across descriptions saying Hades is misty and gloomy. And I want to be fairly accurate, even tho I'm kind of bending mythology to fit my story.

Wow I talked a lot about things here. Sorry >_< Next page I'll try to talk less, promise.

Have you ever wondered what happens to your memories after you die?

Would you like to find out?

Mnemosyne is an idea based around Greek mythology, the figures that are present in Hades that deal with the memories of the dead in particular.
