She went straight to her father’s room and didn’t find Tarkik nor her father, she then walked to her father’s office and he wasn’t there. The only place she could think he could be was in the throne room.

She was surprised no guard standing outside of the throne room.

She moved the curtains and walked in with her head held up high but she soon stopped when she saw Tarkik on his knees chained up in the middle of the throne room.

She slid to him “Oh my god Tarkik!” He was gagged, his top shirt was torn and he had large gashes on his chest which he was bleeding from.

She was about to remove the gag when her father appeared a few meters away from them

“This was unexpected of you, daughter”

“What did you do to him!”

“I knew this day would come but I must say I am not ready to step down”

Now she was confused “What do you mean?!”

“Plotting behind me? Taking over my city right underneath my nose? You think I’m that foolish?”

She stood up “Father I never wanted this, I just want to bring greatness to the people of the sunshine valley-”

“Is that what you call those cockroaches?”

“They are your people and you were ignoring them I was just preventing a rebellion!”

The man laughed “Preventing a rebellion? So what do you call the people who call your name in loyalty and attack my soldiers?”

She was shocked that her father really felt attacked “Father if you think I’m trying to get your throne I am not I am just paving my way as a ruler so when your time comes the people like me”

The man had murders look in his eyes “and you don’t think that I would notice that there are more people who are loyal to you than me? Before it would even be my time those people would rebel to have you in the throne instead of me”

The man took off his robes so he was just in his pants and he took a knife out.

“I believe it’s time I got my competition out of the way, not only you want to take my throne-”

“Father please I don’t want to fight”

“But you want to take what’s mine” He pointed at Tarkik.

She looked at Tarkik then at her father “I haven’t touched him! And he does not like me!”

The man laughed yet again “I have spies all around the palace and they told me that just this morning they saw you and him coming out of your room and kiss”

Her eyes widen “we hugged! We didn’t kiss!-”

“If I can’t have then no one else can” Before She could even react her father threw his knife at Tarkik.

Everything went in slow motion, she screamed NO when trying to reach Tarkik but the knife hit Tarkik’s back and Omisha stopped.

She was shaking and tears ran down her face “You cause much pain to him and I’ve realized that my mother was right in calling you and me monsters”

She turned to her father eyes turning yellow and pupils turning into hin lines.

“I WILL KILL YOU”
