Omisha sighs as she walks the palace grounds. Ever since the war had ended she became bored. She was a princess of war as war was all she knew of, she had led her men into victory and won every battle against any savage from the north. Now that her nation had beaten the Moon nation there was no need for more bloodshed but peace...Peace a strange word for her and her people.
What to do with this peace? To her peace just meant boredom.
Sure she had many slaves and gladiators to satisfy her need of death but it would never be like war.
The agony screams, the blood, the guts, the fire..
Snapping out of her thoughts she realized she was at the royal garden. She looked in disgust at the flowers around her and remembered her mother and how she desperately tried to bring her into the “Light”.
“Good thing father killed the weak bitch” She growled.
She then heard humming, “what is this?” she asked herself as she followed the sound.
She hid behind a tree and took a peek. A man in a blue silk Hanfu was cutting some flowers.
Her eyes widen, as she stared at the man’s dark skin “He’s definitely not from my nation”
The Hanfu he wore was traditionally from her Nation but the fact that it was blue told her this man’s status, foreign but important and the man’s hair was not traditionally Sun nation either as it was short and shaved to the sides rather than being long.
She took her out her sword and slowly made her way to him.
“There is no need to sneak on me princess” she raised her eyebrow, ‘How did he know I was coming?’ she thought.
“Who are you?” she pressed her sword against the back of her neck.
“Just a slave” His accent was strong but he could speak her language clear enough.
She chuckled “must be some special slave because you wear Sun nation clothes rather than the grey colour slave uniforms”
“There wasn’t any clothes that my master liked so he sent for this to be done for me until he finds more Moon traditional clothes”
“Ha! So you are a savage of the north! From the moon nation”
“Gee, my tan skin and blue eyes weren’t obvious enough,” he said as he turned around.
She took a step back in shock, she’s never seen such blue eyes But before she could lose her composure she slapped him.
“Talk to me correctly savage”
He lowered his eyes “Apologies princess” Now that he wasn’t looking she let her face flush, and felt ridiculous acting such a way. She had to admit this savage was handsome.
Clearing her throat she put her sword away “Tell me, how come I haven’t seen you around before? are you new?”
“No, I’ve been here since last year”
She stroked her chin “Since the day we won the war?”
“Yes,” He began to grab the flowers and stood up.
“Where are you going?”
“My master is waiting for me”
She crossed her arms “But I’m the princess and you leave whenever I say you leave”
He raised his eyes again and smirked “Sorry princess but I’ve got places to be” He began to walk away from her and she was filled with rage.
“How dare you talk to me that way- you slave!” She was just about to follow him when a soldier stopped her
“Princess your father awaits you”
She growled and looked behind her to see the Slave was out of sight.
“Fine”
