The man walked, guided by the tracker, through a thick jungle, where it rained almost all the time, the larger leaves of the bindweeds that covered the trees gave him in the face every so often when tried to remove them and a sticky mud almost took off his boots in more than one occasion. The damp heat of the place made him feel itch all over his body, but at least he hadn't been scratched thanks to the suit. Day after day his priority was to find the light and seek shelter to spend the night, the capsule had been packed with dehydrated food but the fruits that hung from the trees seemed strangely irresistible, during his entire life he had only seen them in photos, but there, shining with the morning dew, they were urging him to climb for one. He had to tear off three pears to find an edible one, and stole all his fruits to the apple tree.

The man soon discovered that on the planet there were also animals of all kinds, from small insects to huge felines, even encountered a group of baboons that began to follow him everywhere. His surprise didn’t end, the more time spent there, the more he realized how wrong everyone had been in his own world.

Finally, exhausted after seven days of walking, the young man sat in the shade of a tree and tried to drink some water, but all his canteens were empty. Tired and disappointed tried to continue his path, but as crossed the undergrowth in front, he slipped and fell into a wide river that led to a small waterfall. After fighting for a while with the flowing, he finally managed to reach the other side. Still coughing, he came out of the water and threw himself on the floor. When his breathing normalized, he approached the water and drank a little rapt, took out his bottles and filled them.

Then some noises, like cries in the distance caught his attention. Dan started to get closer to the sound, when he stepped something on the ground that distracted him, the young man crouched to look and what he found was a kind of blade made of stone and wood. When he lifted it could see some movement in the distance. Daniel approached slowly until clearly saw a girl with wavy long black hair and brown skin, picking flowers. The tracker in one of the bags of the vest began to sound more intensely, pointed towards the place where the girl was, suddenly, Dan could see a huge cougar slowly approaching the girl, stalking her. She hadn’t even noticed his presence until a noise made her turn, but before she could reason why, a men was jumping over the animal, and fitting a dagger in its head in one fell swoop. He sat up and they looked at each other in surprise. Then a shrill scream made Dan turn, only to see a projectile coming at him with great speed.
