Eli parks in a empty parking spot near the store and as I begin to open the car door. Eli is already standing there opening the door, I smile as I foolishly see him in a new light. I had always seen Eli as a rival, someone to never underestimate and someone who is a good father despite being an idiot. But maybe just maybe he is hiding what could be a good person. And as I think of I forget about everything else...just for a second.

"I know my abs are pretty hard stone but you don't need to stare at them like that." Eli says.

"In your dreams, I was just wondering how someone could such a jerk." I comeback.

"Does a jerk hold a door for some guy." Eli says.

"This 'some guy' is letting you stay at his place until you get back on your feet." I reply.

"You know you can be a jerk, right." Eli says.

"Yeah, I know. I am a real hot jerk." I say.

"Maybe a hot headed jerk." Eli says.

"When have you ever seen me get angry?" I question.

"...That one time when a girl came into the firm and interrupted a meeting between you and boss." Eli says.

"That girl was my little sister, she wasn't in school and the meeting she was interrupting was if I could get a raise so I could get her to stop worrying about rent." I said not thinking.

"You have a sister?" Eli asks.

"No." I say.

"But you just said..." Eli said before stopping himself and continuing "I'm sorry" He apologizes.

"It's fine, you didn't know. Anyway, lets go in before the store closes." I respond.

"Okay, do you need any money?" He asks.

"Nope, I have my own money. But thanks." I say.

We walk towards the door, and the slide open. As we enter I start looking at the signs to see if I can locate where they keep the blankets and pillows. Because as far as I know he didn't bring anything with him and the only spare blankets I have is in a room I never go into that hasn't been touched in a little over a year. I spot the sign that says bedroom, and see comforters and throw pillows. One catches my eye it has a subtle design and it is has shades of grey. It had matching pillows and it just made me think it matched the rooms vibe....but in the corner of my eye I spotted something I knew I had to get.
