Fortune had been hidding in the shadows all day, which was totally fine, not a problem at all! He liked the darkness, he told himself. Did it bother him, that he might suddenly get caught making a complete fool of himself? Of course not! Did it bother him that he had been doing the same ting for a month and hadn't made any progress since day one? No! Did he hate this feeling of unease caused by the uncertainty of his future that filled his stomach with butterflies and made the room spin in tHoUsAnDs Of SwIrLiNg CoLoRs!?! O.K. maybe he had a slight problem... But it was all for a good cause! Fortune was following Fate, O.K. so it was closer to stalking than just simply following! Fortune had been "stalking" Fate ever since they ran into eachother (literally) in the school hallway. For Fortune, it was love at first sight and he intended to ask the handsome and popular boy out on a date.

Fate had been leading Fortune on a wild goose chase troughout their high school's long-since-deserted-halls. This actually boosted Fortune's confidence; the darker it was, the more shadows to blend into and the less people to whitness him look crazy dashing betewwn shadows like a secret agent!

Up ahead, Fate had suddenly disappeared. Fortune stopped, he was sure he had just seen Fate. It wasn't that easy to loose a tall boy with shoulder length black hair, and their standard school uniform (black dress pants, a white dress shirt, black jacket, and an inky-black velvet tie with matching gloves) was it?!

Suddenly, a hand shot out of the dark! It grabbed Fortune by the collar and whipped him around!

"Heh! Got you!" the owner of the hand whispered in a sing-song voice.

Fortung gasped as he found himself inches away from Fate's face.

"You were spying on me." It was a statement not a question.

Fortune gulped and quickly lowered his head, but the hand reached out again. Gently, Fate lifted Fortune's head to look him in the eyes. The inky-blackness of Fate's velvet gloves softly caressing his cheek. A mischievous smile tugged at the corners of Fate's lips, he leaned in for a kiss. Fortune's luminescent green eyes momentarily widened in shock before he returned the kiss.
