Oh religion. A troubling topic for a lot of people, including me.
Growing up in a mexican/latino family implies it'll take a part in your childhood and even the way your household lives.
Most of the time, getting away from faith automatically makes you the black sheep of the family and everyone fears for your soul. Done with her mother's extremist choice, Andrea lived through this and made her household this way.
Gotta be careful with extremes, right?
