Bigotry is an ironic term as it is used to confer racism yet comes from a racist word origin. The Germanic settlers of en gland used it to describe the french settlers and the way they mimicked them by saying "by god", but that came out as "bi-got" hence the word! ETYMOLOGY BITCHES.
