Luka sits up picking Kai up with him, “I should drive him home, I don’t want him to hold us back,” He says rubbing Kai’s back, Kai sits up and smiles looking at Luka. He leans in kissing him.

“I understand, if you don’t want me coming I’ll stay here. I wouldn’t wanna get in the way or cause anything,” Kai says hugging Luka.

“I don’t mind if you come, I just wouldn’t want you to see my dad if he’s still, y’know. He’s just not himself right now I guess,” Luka says hugging him back, Kai nods.

“I understand, I’ll stay here,” Kai says looking at Luka again.

“That’s not what I’m-” Luka says.

“I know, but I would also like to do a few things while you’re gone. Is that ok?” Kai asks as Luka holds his hips.

“Of course it’s ok, I love you,” Luka says kissing Kai’s forehead, Kai blushes.

“U-umm,” Kai says a little shocked, Luka leans back and smiles.

“S-sorry, am I moving to fast?” Luka asks a little worried.

“N-no, no no. I-I love you too,” Kai says happily, Luka smiles blushing. Kai leans in kissing him gently and then pulls away, “You should probably get going,” Kai says holding Lula’s shoulders as he puts one foot on the ground.

Luka smiles, “I’ll be right back,” he says as Kai stands up letting Luka stand up, Luka quickly heads out of the room, “Come on Miky,” He says walking past the living room.

“What?” Miky asks turning to look at Luka.

“I’m taking you now,” Luka says grabbing the car keys, Miky jumps up and follows him out.

“Thank you for letting me over,” Miky says to Kai as he quickly heads out the door.

“No problem, you can come back anytime you need,” Kai says as the door shuts.

“What if dad is still drunk,” Miky says as he gets int the car.

“I’ll talk to him, and if that doesn’t work you can go stay at a friends house,” Luka says pulling out of the garage.

“OK, but what if he doesn’t let me,” Miky says as they head down the road.

“If he’s still drunk he doesn’t get a say,” Luka says speeding up.

They sit in silence until they get home…

“Let’s go,” Luka says parking on the road, they both hurry to the door. Luka knocks as Miky stands behind him.

Dad opens the door and stares for a second, “Luka?” he says holding a bottle.

“How are you feeling, how many of these have you had?” Luka asks grabbing the bottle from dads hand.

“How many of what?” Dad asks holding his hands in the air.

“Nevermind, anyways I just came by to see how you were doing. Now I gotta go, Miky staying at a friends house so don’t worry. I love you and please get some sleep, I’ll be back soon,” Luka says hugging dad tightly, he lets go and him and Miky quickly turn around to head back to the car.

“Are you running away too, why does no one love me. Everyone leaves me, you hate me don’t you,” Dad says getting upset.

“Miky go get in the car,” Luka says pushing Miky towards the car, “No dad, I don’t hate you and I’m not running away. I’ll be back in a few days and Miky will be back tomorrow unless you drink again,” he says standing at the end of the stairs.

“Fuck you, you’re s piece of shit son and you’re just here to take the only kid I have left that actually loves me. You’re mom never loved you, that’s why she left. I’m glad you’re gone,” Dad yells throwing a bottle at Luka.

“Mom’s dead, now go fuck yourself. I’m taking your kid away because he’s not safe here when you’re like this, goodbye,” Luka says walking away, Dad starts yelling mumbled words as he throws more bottles.

Luka drives away quickly, “Where are we going?” Luka asks.

“My friend Pepper’s house, he mom said the doors always open if I need it,” Miky says.

“I’m gonna need directions,” Luka says.

A few minutes pass and he drops Miky off….

“Be good, call me if you need anything,” Luka says hugging Miky, “Thanks again,” He says waving at Pepper’s mom.

“Oh no problem, he's always welcome,” She says as Luka hurries back to the car.

Luka gets in the car and starts breaking down, he starts the car and continues to drive, “What happened to you, ever since mom died and you were diagnosed with cancer. All you do is drink now and I don’t know how much longer I can allow Miky to stay with you,” Luka says talking to himself. He starts crying even more, ”Maybe she did leave because of me, no, that’s stupid. I know she didn’t die because of me, but maybe she did hate me,” Luka says getting into the neighborhood.

He hurries him and parks the car….

Luka quicky heads inside still crying a little, he walks to Kai’s bedroom door and hurries in. He faces the door when he gets inside to calm down thinking Kai is asleep, he turns around and sees Kai sleeping naked, “Jesus,” Luka says turning back around in shock.

He turns back and walks towards the bed, “Looks like he was gonna surprise me,” He says running his fingers along Kai’s body making Kai shiver. He opens his eyes and jumps a little.

“Oh, h-hi. I guess I fell asleep,” Kai says trying to cover himself.

“I guess you did,” Luka says crawling onto the bed, He comes close to Kai and kisses him passionately. Kai blushes and becomes really warm and embarrassed.
