A gust of wind blew through, sending Bliss’s wavy shoulder length blonde hair dancing in the air, the sun rays hit her hair sending off a faint glow like an angel’s halo.

Count Jim’s eyes instantly glued on Bliss, an eerie smile on his face. “I’m getting interested in you.” He said, licking his lips.

Bliss felt a shiver ran down her spine from his gaze. She unconsciously took a step closer to Eve, hands balled up into a fist, gulping down the hint of fear that starting to form in the pit of her stomach.

“Girls, why do we have to do this the hard way?” Count Jim said, taking a sip of his red wine.

“Shut up! And let’s get this started!” Eve said, taking a step forward, holding up her fist.

Count Jim hand his glass of wine to the guard standing beside him. “As you wish.” With a snap of his finger, the giant creature pounce at the two girls.

Shocked by its sudden increased speed, Bliss use her telekinetic magic to instantly levitate herself away from the creature. With Eve exceptional flexibility and speed, she avoided the attack without breaking a sweat.

With several front flips and a high jump, Eve leapt into the air and charge towards the creature with a powerful punch. Bliss took the chance to increase Eve’s speed with her magic, hence double the power of her attack. And it work! Seeing that the creature let out a painful cry, stepping back from the impact.

But it quickly recover from the attack, letting out a loud roar; it charge towards them extending its sharp claw. Eve avoided the attack with several jumps, landing herself on a tree away from the creature. Bliss tried to run but the creature seems to mark her as its target, ignoring Eve, it pounces at Bliss. Bliss duck and roll to the side, barely avoiding the attack.

The sound of falling trees, make Bliss turned and take a look. Her eyes widen at the sight; with just merely a slash, the row of trees straight away fall to the ground. A clean cut on the tree trunks.

“Bliss, look out!”

Eve’s cry pull Bliss back to reality, she turned and inches away is the creature’s claw. Bliss knew she had to do something, but fear paralyzed her legs.

“Bliss!” Seeing that Bliss is stunned by terror, Eve jump down from the tree, storming towards her.

The creature roar, attacking Bliss with a slash.

Eve screams when she heard a loud bang, then a sigh of relief escape her mouth.

Bliss meets the creature eyes with a glare, both hands held up; blocking the creature’s claw with a forcefield, shielding herself from its attack.

Angered by not causing a single damage to its prey, the creature keep banging at Bliss’s forcefield.

“Ah!” Bliss cried in pain, enduring the pressure from the monstrous attack.

Just then, a crack formed on her shield. Bliss’s brow furrowed, biting her lower lip. She knows that any moment now, her shield will shattered like broken mirrors. Just then, she saw the deep scratches on the ground caused by the creature’s claws, it is at least a few inches deep.

Something light up in Bliss’s mind, she meet Eve’s gaze signalling to the claw marks on the ground. Eve blinks, doesn’t seem to get what Bliss is trying to portray. Time is not something Bliss can spare, she direct her attention back to the creature, she broke into a smile when the creature extend its claw.

As soon as its attack touch her shield, Bliss retract her shield. In a flash, Bliss switch her magic to her own body, levitating herself out from the danger zone; the creature put in too much pressure trying to break Bliss’s forcefield, so when the shield is gone, its claws directly dug deep into the ground.

Seeing that the creature’s claws are in the dirt, Bliss cast her binding spell, putting an extra constraint on the beast.At the same time, seeing the chance right in front of her, Eve put all her power into her flying kick. Bliss draw in her binds when Eve kick the creature. The attack sent the beast flying right across the forest, wiping out half of the trees. The creature hit a edge of the mountain, causing a large crack, it groans in pain.

Eve cast Count Jim a smug smirk. Count Jim clicks it tongue, shaking its head, laughing.

Eve furrowed her brows, meeting Bliss glance, both of them are weirded out by his sudden outburst.
