The night falls as you breathe my name for the last time. As if mocking my pain the stars shine brighter than ever and the dark sky is filled with light - right as I lose my moon, world, everything.
I take no comfort in its beauty, for how can I bear to look up when in my arms lies the most beautiful person - growing colder by the second, destroying me yet again.
As the tears fall, so do the stars, so do I.
Once again I have lost you and I wonder if you feel the same unbearable pain when you lose me.
By now I should be used to it, but how would I ever get accustomed to your absence? To losing you?
I cannot.
I can only wait for the day you’ll be in arms again.
The stars might die, change, but my love for you never will.
