Count Jim shakes his head, “When will you learn?”

He scoffed at yet another weak attempt from Bliss.

Freeing one of his hands, he grabs Bliss by the neck. Looking the blood stain on Bliss long skirt and the red liquid dripping from her blade, Count Jim laughs.

“Impressive! Impressive! Another interesting thing.”

Bliss’s face turned pale, with the tight grip around her neck, she feel herself being suffocated but that doesn’t stop her from sending daggers at the insane man before her.

“I will suck the life out from both of you!” He said, no sign of insanity in his eyes.

All of a sudden, Count Jim look down, Bliss followed his eyes and saw the little hound biting Count’s Jim leg. Count Jim drew in both of his hands, Bliss drops to the ground taking in deep breath; Count Jim tear off the little hound from his leg, throwing it on the ground near Eve.

Without any energy, Eve can only glared at the insane man before her.

“Pesky little mutt, I will have to get rid of you first.”

Looking at the intend to kill in Count Jim’s eyes, Bliss instantly shield both Eve and the little creature behind her.

Count Jim laugh at her actions, “Then, I will start with you.” He said, grabbing Bliss by her hair.

“No!” Eve cried. Hitting herself on the leg, move! Move!

The little hound bark, charging at the plump man but Count Jim just kick it and the little hound dropped to the ground, whimpering in pain.

Count Jim began sucking Bliss’s magic, white glow emitting from her as Bliss struggles to break free. Then, Count Jim sense something...something dark within those bright white light. Cold sweat starting to formed on his forehead, his eyes widen. Bliss blinks in confusion, when she saw what flashed through his eyes.

Is that...fear?

Feeling his grip loosen, Bliss instantly took the chance to break free from his constraint. At the same time, Eve leapt up with an aggressive punch, follow up with a vigorous roundhouse kick. It doesn’t just end there, with a swift wave of her hand, Bliss threw numerous trees at the plump Count.

Just when Bliss and Eve thought, it is over for Count Jim, a string of heinous laughter sounded from the stracks of trees. A hand came out from the mountain of trees, then both the girls could feel dark auras emitting from that area.Bliss carries little hound in her arms; gulping, both of them starting to step backwards.

In a blink of an eyes, Count Jim emerge from the trees, burning them to dust. He move towards the girls, with a swift motion of his hand, dark wave of energy hit them. Both of them drops to the ground in pain and this time... they really cannot move.

Count Jim grabs Bliss by her neck, “You...you wasted enough of my time.” He said through gritted teeth.

Little hound leapt out from Bliss’s arms; biting Count Jim’s nose, he swat it away. Then, Eve grabs him by the leg.“I’m not letting you hurt, Bliss!” She cried.

Angered by the two, Count Jim threw Bliss to the ground, kicking Eve away from him.

“I’ve had enough of you three!” He screams, dark flames appearing from his hand.

Just when, Bliss thought this is the end for her.

A shadow loomed over her, she blinks at the tall, strong man standing in front of them; his back facing them but he look over his shoulder with his piercing eyes.

“Brother!” Eve cried, happy.

Bliss blinks at the scene before her; Count Jim, the guy that the three of them fought till they are half-dead and even the Fierecus hound is no match to him. But, this man, defeated Count Jim like he is nothing, it was only a few seconds but Count Jim is already defeated.

Eve storm into her brother’s arm, tears in her eyes, she bite her lower lip preventing herself from crying. Leo pats Eve’s on the back, comforting her. Bliss shift her gaze to the team of professionally trained knights with the Hedley House’s emblem on their armors.

So they are the Hedley Knights...

They took the fainted Count Jim away. Finally, Bliss let out a sigh of relief. As soon as relieved washed over her, everything went dark.

Bliss felt herself scooped up and being carried by a pair of strong arms, before she fully blackout, her eyes meet with a pair of piercing green eyes. At that moment, she felt a soothing warmth washed over her and she closes her eyes knowing that she will be safe.

Bliss wakes up to the licking on her face.

Fluttering her eyes open, her blue eyes are met with a pair of golden ones. Little hound seemed happy to see her; it barks, wagging its tail.

Bliss couldn’t help but smile at the sight, hugging the white Fierecus hound; she look at its big golden eyes, its eyes are shine with complete trust and pure happiness.

It jump down from Bliss’s grasp, running around in the room.

The blonde open her mouth, but then realize it doesn’t have a name.

“Blitz.”

For some reason, this name pop up in her mind after seeing the three lightning bolt marks on its back.

The little hound seemed to hear her, and it ran towards Bliss tilting its head.

Bliss smiled, kneeling down in front of Blitz. “Blitz. Do you like this name?” She asked, softly.

It blinks, actually thinking about its new name. Then, its eyes widen, replying with a bark and excited wagging of its tail.

“So you like your name~ I’m so glad.” Bliss smiled, ruffling its head.

After that, Bliss finally noticed that the wounds and her bruises are all healed. She looks around, her surroundings seemed alien to her. The room, however is grand and spacious, this single room is bigger than her shop back in Daisyfield town.

“Eve! Where’s Eve?”

The last thing she remembered before she pass out is that pair of piercing emerald eyes and the strong arm that carries her. Thinking back, she felt herself flushed and her cheeks are burning up, her heart pounding hard.

Blitz barks, snapping Bliss back to reality; she head towards the door, poking her head out looking from left to right, before signalling Blitz to follow her. Blitz mimic her, poking its head out, looking left and right before following after Bliss.

Bliss walks down the corridor, trying to find Eve. Same like the room she was in earlier, the hallway is luxurious as well.

“Brother! You don’t understand! I want to do this on my own.”
