“Please don’t do this, father! This is not his fault”

A nice looking woman in fancy clothes run to the front of her father, fall down on her knees to beg for her father’s forgiveness.

“How dare you dating him behind my back. Do you know I did not raise you to marry a cockroach. I raised you to marry a prince!” Yelled the father as his tone getting higher and higher.

“My mistake mister Shin, I , who am just a cockroach , was going out of the line.” Said the young man who already bowed down before the woman.

“You! I hope you realize your status. You are not our level. Do you think you will get my aprroval and marry my daughter and take over this company?”, the CEO try to hold his voice while holding his breath, “Yeah, I know, my pretty daughter with a lot of money, and she is my only child. It must be very tempting for people like you..”

The daughter’s fingers gathered together as a fist wishing to help her control her emotion and voice deep down inside her throat which want to jump out of her small lips at anytime soon.

The father looking at her short and continue, “ I know a lot of people who work here dream to date her. I know from the way they look at her. And you, you must be very lucky that she chose you. Do you think I will just let this pass? In your dream.”

“Not at all mister Shin,” The young man replied fast and firm. He slowly move his head to see the woman’s face beside him and continue, “I…I just love her so much.. that’s all. Even if she is poor and no one , my love will be the same.”

The young man smile in sadness , looking at his loved one who are looking at him back in tears. “However, I know .. You just love her so much as a father. You don’t want to see her suffer, right mister Shin?”

“Don’t act smart to me.” Said the old man. “Let’s just cut it here. I don’t want to see your pity dirty face any longer. Go find somewhere else to work and forget my daughter. Don’t even dare to show up by tomorrow.”

The CEO leave the room followed by his daughter’s cry, “Father please! Don’t do that, he didn’t do anything wrong! Father!!”

“Seo Han, I’m sorry for all my father’s words that hurted you. I know your love is true to me. I will always by your side.” Said the woman as she hug the man she loved tenderly to encourage him.

The man pull out her arms and hold them together instead, “Yoo Na..” He started the first word as he looking at her eyes deeply but soft, “I don’t want to make you sad and suffer because of me.. I know this is hard..but..”

“No… no… don’t say that Seo Han, please…” Beg the woman.

“I think this is the best for you.” He tried to manage his emotion and voice to be as stable as he can. “In some months or maybe years, you can forget me for sure. You will find a better man in the future..”

“Noo..I just want you.. please…” the woman don’t want to let go off his hands, but the man take off his hands instead. He hold her shoulder and bring her to stand slowly.

“I love you Yoo Na, so much… but I have to forget you. So please try your best to forget me too, understood?” He forced his smile as he pet her head softly. “I need to clean my desk now. Be strong, okay?Take care of your life well.”

“Noooo!!! Soe Han, pleaseee…Don’t leave meee!!!”
