Bliss quickly follow the sound and find herself in front of a room, the door is ajar. Bliss slow down her pace and tiptoed towards the agape door, placing her finger in front her lips she give Blitz a ‘shhh’ before she step closer to the door. Blitz obediently nods and quietly stood beside Bliss.

But before she can listen further, a firebolt was shoot at her but luckily Blitz notice the attack and pushed Bliss away. Bliss turned and saw a pair of violet eyes. His eyes are the most beautiful thing she ever seen, they’re like gems. But, right now, she doesn’t have the mood nor the time to stare, because the owner of the eyes are currently glaring at her, she can almost see the burning rage in those gem-like eyes.

“Who are you? And what are you doing eavesdropping on brother Leo?!” He yelled at her, holding his fist up and enveloping them in flame.

Fire user?

“I...I’m not eavesdropping.” She said, her eyes looking anywhere but at him.

She cursed herself for being nosy, she should know better than to eavesdrop on people due to her curiosity. It is rude and uncalled for, now karma gets the best of her.

Looking at Bliss’s averting eyes. He took it as guilty and charge towards her. Bliss took on her fighting stance and ready for battle, even Blitz is ready to fight alongside Bliss.

However before they can do anything, that might ruin the lushly decorated hallway. Eve rushed over and shield Bliss behind her.

“Alec, what are you trying to do to Bliss?!” Eve glared at the said boy who still have his fists hold up.

“Me? She’s the one who tried to eavesdrop on you guys.” Alec protest.

Bliss kept quiet.

Leo steps out from the room and the three’s eyes instantly lit up.

“Brother Leo!”

“Brother!”

Bliss felt like her cheeks are burning again, she tried her best to calm down her racing heart.

“What is all that fuss about?” He asked.

“Alec attacks Bliss for no reason!”

“I found her peeping and eavesdropping.”

“I...” Bliss pouts.

Blitz jumps at Alec, biting his trousers. Alec kicks and Blitz bite off the a piece of his trousers, the girls giggles at him.“Blitz, stop.” Bliss quickly ask Blitz to come over to her side.

She looks apologetically at Alec but after seeing that he glared angrily at her, she just feel mad and stuck her tongue at him when the others are not looking.

“She! She just...” Alec pointed out.

“Alright, alright. I’m sure this is all just a misunderstanding.” Leo stops him, before another fight erupt.

The two glared at each other all the way to the tea room.

The tea room is as grand as the interior of the mansion, it is bright with natural lights as the floor length windows lined up against the wall, heavy curtains tied back to both side. A huge polished wooden table in the middle of the room, there’s a bouquet of fresh roses set on the table along with arrays of exquisite looking desserts.

Inside the tea room seated a boy with dark blue hair, noticing their entrance he set down the antique tea cup in his hand after a sip before he stood up in an elegant poise, with a swift motion he greeted them.

“Bliss, this is Noah Lenn, my other childhood friend.” Eve cast a glance at Alec who is still glaring at Bliss before she rolled her eyes. “And Alec Chance.” She motioned towards Alec.

Bliss smiled, “Nice to meet you, I’m Bliss Brooklyn.”

Noah gave a gentleman bow, “The pleasure is mine.”

Looking at the sophisticated boy in front of her, she couldn’t help but cast Alec a look. Such difference….. “What kind of look is that?” Alec said.

Bliss raised a brow at him before returning her attention to Noah, she scoop Blitz up, beaming. “And this cutie pie here is my new companion, Blitz.”

Noah’s eyes light up, “Is this a Fierecus hound?”

Blitz bark, proud.

Noah is in awe, he knew the Fierecus hound is considered as one of the rare species and now one is right in front of him. Even though she said Blitz is her new companion, from their interaction, they seemed close.

He take another look at the blonde in front of him; from first impression, Bliss look like a normal, innocent girl but the aura she gave out, something tell him she is not just any small town girl even the Fierecus hound acknowledged her. And he very much trust his own instinct, sharp instinct is a must for a summoner like himself.

In mere seconds, Noah already run through a lot of thinking and made up his mind. Noah is not one who simply made friends, he kept his distance and only befriend those who he thinks are worthy. And Bliss Brooklyn… maybe he should give her a chance before directly shutting her out from his social circle.

He give Blitz a light pat on the head before he looks up at Bliss, a hint of genuine in his smile. Bliss blinks, the sunrays hit the boy in front of her the minute he flash his smile; the soft glow make him look like a prince walking out from those picture books in her bookshelf back home. She returned his smile, eyes beaming.

Alec is taken aback by Noah’s gesture even Eve is a bit shock, being his childhood friends they both know how he act towards new people. But Eve quickly diminish her shock, even though she just knew her not too long ago, from what they experience together she felt like she already develop a bond with her.

Alec, on the other hand, couldn’t help but take another look at Bliss. Looking at Bliss blooming smile and the sun rays enveloping her in gentle glow, maybe she isn’t so bad? The thought quickly turned to dust when Bliss shoot daggers at him after noticing his stare.

Laughter, giggles and occasional bickers filled the room; as Leo look at them.

“They remind me of us when we’re little.”

Leo turned to look at the beautiful lady standing beside him, she passed him a cup of coffee she just brewed.His eyes turned soft when he looks at the elven lady, “Thank you, Lorraine.”

Hearing what she said earlier, he cast another glance at them. Something flashes through his mind.

Lorraine saw the hint of hurt in his eyes and she lightly take his hand in hers. She flashes him a gentle smile.He squeezes her hand, looking at the four.

Hopefully they can succeed in something that they failed a few years ago.
