I have a pain condition called Complex Regional Pain Syndrome in my legs and it feels /exactly/ how this looks, all the time. This is a beautifully accurate depiction of what extreme nerve pain looks like. Seeing the animation at the end on repeat, pulsing, even gives the effect of the waves of shock and pain of neuralgia. That kind of pain interrupts your ability to speak coherently, to think coherently, to move, to breathe. Eyes watering, adrenaline surging, sickness. That is misery. I wouldn’t run again either.
