I woke with no memories, no knowledge of this place. There were chimneys, smoke, and smells that made me cough and wish I was anywhere but here.
Tall buildings loomed over me and the city. It was getting dark, dark and foggy. I had to find a way to leave. I had to find a way out, if I didn’t, I was convinced my body would freeze.
I pushed up against my elbows. I took in a breath and noticed my throat was hoarse and hurting from something I’d no recollection of. Then, I saw it, the blood on my hands.
Was it mine?
I—
A) I reached into my pockets to check for anything else that could give me clues on my identity.
B) I screamed, and then footsteps neared.
C) I ran, away from the view of the city and towards a bright red door.
