The rising morning sun shown through the city of Elves, illuminating the buildings, casting shadow over some nook and crannies and glistening off the glass and water. Death arrived at this time with her new Catfolk companion, Kinshi, in tow.
"A beautiful sight, is it not?" Kinshi asked Death.
Death studied the city, the sight was beautiful like nothing else she ever seen or could recall in her short amount of memory.  "It's nice," Death responded, "Where are your companions?"
Kinshi sighed, "All business aren't you?" Kinshi inquired.
"We are not friends, Kinshi, you asked for my help and I'm giving it in return for the jobs money. Plain and simple." Death answered.
Kinshi sighed again, "Fair enough. They should be in the Guildhall by now getting breakfast."
"Breakfast sounds like a good idea, let's go," Death said, beginning to walk toward the towns centre where the Guildhall is located.
"All business," Kinshi mumbled before following.

The Gelding city centre was full of hustle and bustle even just at the start of morning. Shop keeps setting up stalls, suppliers supplying and shop keeps kids selling each other apples and toys to mimic their parents. Death stopped to take in the sight, a new memory to fill the empty void of an amnesiac brain. If I can't get my old memories, might as well make new ones, she thought.
"Miss! Miss! Do you want an apple?!" A young High Elf girl asked Death.
Death knelt down to be on the same level as the girl, wiping the hair out of her face, "Sure, how much?" Death inquired.
"3 silver pieces Miss!" The High Elf child replied, enthusiastic at the sell.
Death combed her coin purse with Kinshi peaking over her shoulder, she had many silver and gold pieces in it as well as one platinum piece worth a hundred gold. "Well I don't have much," Death said, "But I do have this little platinum piece, will that do?" Death asked with a soft smile.
The High Elf girl was stunned, "M-Miss I don't think I have the change for that."
"Don't worry about it, keep the change," Death replied, trading the platinum piece for the High Elf girls green apple.
The High Elf girl was ecstatic, growing a smile that shined as much as the sun and running of to her parents, "Mommy, Daddy, look what I got!"
Kinshi was smiling behind Death, "That was rather kind Death, and here I thought you weren't going to be capable of such thing." Kinshi said.
Death looked to Kinshi, she saw a wide warm smile that seemed to make his whiskers stand on end but almost hide against his gray fur. It made Death blush, "I just wanted an apple," Death said, almost defensively.
Kinshi laughed, then beckoned Death to follow him to the Guildhall this time.

The outside of the Guildhall resembled a gargantuan gothic church with a bell at the top that seemed to have ringed its last long ago. The building was in contrast to the rest of the city's bright and glowy architecture that reflected the Elves prestine and beautiful nature, while this one didn't seem built to reflect a nature. Death walked through the large front doors after Kinshi, the inside of the building was also in contrast but more to the building itself, choosing to mimic the bright and glowy Elven architecture instead of the gothic building it was inside.
Kinshi walked towards the center of the building where many tables were placed for adventurers to gather. Many different kinds of people were gathering around a small table in the dead center, small Elves, tall Orcs, fat Goblins, skinny Tieflings all cheering an arm wrestling match between a rather tall Wood Elf with what seemed to be a magic wood arm and another smaller Elf that didn't seem like any Elf Death had seen before with an ice covered arm. They were at a stall mate in their.
"Come on, make the city guard proud!" A Wood Elf guard shouted.
"Freeze her arm already, for crying out loud!" A short blue Tiefling screamed.
Kinshi and Death were looking on, Death was a bit interested to see who'd win, Kinshi Looked a tad annoyed. "Death, meet two of your new companions," Kinshi said, nodding to the table, "The one with the ice on her arm is Erris Hielo, she's a half Water Elf by the way. The one with a wood arm is Larriet Leafanbow," Kinshi sighed before carrying on. "And see the Wood Elf at the long table over there," Kinshi said pointing to a Wood Elf with a green tunic shirt, brown skirt and an archers hat next to her on the table, "That's Alaesa Leafanbow, Larriets little sister and currently a gambling collector."
Death was left bamboozled, two of her new companions were arm wrestling and the other was collecting bets on them. Not what she was expecting to say the least.
The arm wrestling match between the two was starting to favour Erris' side, with Larriet struggling to keep her wood arm above the table and panting the match seems to be Erris'.
"Kinshi, your back!" Said the short blue Tiefling from before.
"Dia! Ah didn't see ya there, how's the bet going?" Kinshi asked in a whispered tone.
Dia looked around to assure no one was listening, "Currently Alaesa has estimated at least a hundred gold pieces worth of silver if people believe it."
Kinshi laughed, "Good, good. Oh yea, Dia, this girl here is Death, our new companion and Death this is Dia Bow," Kinshi introduced.
"Oh nice to meet you then Death," Dia said, reaching his hand out.
"Nice to meet you too I suppose," Death answered, shaking his hand before jumping from a loud bang.
"AND THE WINNER IS ERRIS!" Alaesa announced in a high pitched tone, while collecting some bets.

After some more introductions, breakfast and money counting on Alaesa's account, the group finally sat down to plan the library mission.
"Ok so let's go over this one more time, Erris, step one?" Kinshi asked.
"Step one; Get a horse and carriage for supplies." Erris responded.
Kinshi smiled, "Good Erris. Larriet, step two?"
   Larriet's eyes rolled, "Get supplies."
"Good, plain and simple just for you," Kinshi laughed. "Dia, step three?"
Dia shot up from his seat, "Step three, Go to and find a way inside the library!" Dia announced.
"Paying attention Dia, good good. Alaesa step four?"
Alaesa rolled her eyes like Larriet and played with her money, "Step four, I lead us to the books most likely location because I'm the only one who looked the library's layout plans."
Kinshi patted Alaesa's head, "Yes you are and we all love you for that. Ok Death, step five?"
Everyone at the table looked to Death, the newcomer, waiting with baited breath for her response. Death sighed nervously, "Step six, get out and get the money from the client asap," Death said, looking to the others for their reaction finding warm and welcoming smiles from each....But the sisters who seemed bored.
"Good, Death," Kinshi said also with a warm smile, "Now, we'll need supplies for the day trip to and from the library so let's get to it everyone and go shopping." Kinshi said dismissing his companions to a shopping trip.
Death got up and was about to go to the market before being stopped by Kinshi from going anywhere for the second time today. "Death, you'll be bunking in the spare bed in my room upstairs for the time being, well if you don't mind that is." Kinshi informed Death.
Death was surprised, "Is anyone else bunked together?" She asked.
"Yes actually, Dia and Eriss are bunked and so are the Leafanbow's. So don't worry I'm not trying to do anything weird."
"Good, I didn't want to have to cut off your head like that Orc," Death responsed.
Kinshi laughed, "Come on I'll show you our room," He said, beckoning Death to follow him.
