Whitney: Last night, I was already hiding in Byron’s cabin cause I know he always ordered a lot of food and couldn’t finish all, so I was staking out for the leftovers. And as expected, I had a very full dinner, so full that I directly fell asleep afterwards. I woke up in the dark and to the kid’s snores. I stretches for a bit, then someone steps in; out of curiosity, I hid myself and peek at the person. The intruder rummage through his luggage and his stuff, think it is a thief or something. I couldn’t figure out who that is, so I wanted to take a closer look but when I went closer, a pungent smell burned my nose. So, I steps way back. But, oddly enough the thief just left the cabin without taking anything.

“What? Are you sure?” Blitz furrowed his brows.

“I’m very sure.”

Both Blitz and Sherlock gazes up and saw Whitney hiding behind the table lamp.

“After seeing the coast is clear, I was ready to leave then, my vision got blurry and I doze off.”

“Before you doze off, did you find anything odd?” Sherlock thought and asked.

Whitney retraces her memory from last night but shakes her head in the end.

Blitz and Sherlock sat in a corner outside Bliss’s cabin, going through all the clues they’ve gathered.

Clues:

1) Fake diamond encrusted button

2) Pungent smell

3) Something that caused people to doze off

Just then, something click in Sherlock’s mind. His mind take him back to the previous day, various scenes flashes through his mind.

“Blitz! I know who-”

Its words are cut off when something were charging towards them.

“Blitz! Stop that thief!” Eve yelled when she saw Blitz and Sherlock after turning into the corner.

Blitz’s stunned for a split second, but recover quickly, stepping into the way of the thief.

Charging their way is a huge snake, it hiss angrily reveling its sharp fangs. Sherlock instantly side-step hiding behind a cabin’s door, poking its head out to takes in the whole scene.

With a bark, Blitz sends a lightning bolt towards the snake.

The snake hiss, flashing Blitz a scornful glance as if it is saying ‘Do you seriously think such attack will harm me?’, it easily dissolve the attack with a smack of its tail. Then, it attacks Blitz with poison needles.

Blitz dodge easily, throwing a few more lightning bolt towards the snake.

“Enough fooling around, you can’t beat me. You’re just a cub.”

Smirked, “I’m not trying to beat you, she is!”

“Wha-?”

Blitz storms into the cabin where Sherlock is, poking its head out as well. It so not going to miss that victory scene.

“Popcorn?” Sherlock asked.

Blitz narrowed its eyes, sweat-dropped. “...”

“I’ll take that as a ‘No’.” Sherlock shrugged, “Suits yourself.”

The snake still doesn’t get what was going on, it will know soon but then, it was too late.

Eve charges in like a fierce meteor, wings spreading wide, claws sharp.

Without breaking a sweat, the snake dropped to the floor, eyes wide with disbelief that it was defeated by a girl so young.

Eve grabs tightly on her whip, making sure that the culprit won’t have the chance to escape.

“Well, if it makes you feel any better. I’m Genevieve Hedley, gotten beat up by a Hedley is way better right?” Eve said, beaming.

“Hmm...I haven’t even finish my popcorn. Thought this will be more exciting.” Sherlock slowly walks over to the snake, patting it on the head. “You’ve let me down, sir. You should be so ash-”

Hissssss

“Kyaaa!” Sherlock let out a piercing cry causing a crack on the window, hiding behind Eve’s leg, dodging the snake’s bite.

Eve giggles at the sight while Blitz looks at Sherlock as though it is an idiot.

“Eve! Are you okay?” Noah rushes over, grabbing Eve’s by the shoulder checking to see if she was wounded.

“I’m fine.” She smiles, signalling to the culprit tied up by her whip. “See, I caught it.”

“Are you sure? I heard a scream.” He said, his forehead are painted with a thin layer of sweat.

Eve blinks, then she bends over laughing; so is Blitz. Noah stood there, confused, looking at Eve and Blitz even the snake is laughing.

Sherlock sent Noah a death glare, arms crossed. “Well, that was rude.”

Eve wipes the tear out from the corner of her eyes, taking in a few deep breath before she said: “That scream you heard, it was from this little guy over here.”

Noah eyes wide with realization. “No wonder it had been giving me such deadly looks.”

“Come to think of it. Have you guys caught the guy?”

“Of course! With me and Noah, do you think we will fail?” Alec said, with a proud expression on his face.

“Then, what are we waiting for? Let’s go bail Bliss out!”

“Thank you so much, guys!” Bliss said, throwing herself at the three hugging them.

Noah sidestep avoiding the hug, pulling Eve with him. Eve casts him a confused glance which Noah pretended to not know what she is trying to imply.

He surely wasn’t going to tell her, even though Bliss is a girl he will be jealous as well right? So he just gives Eve a smile and pointed at the stains on her top.

Eve’s eyes grow wide in realization and thank Noah for pointing it out. Her eyes sparkles as she return his smile. Noah patted her on the head, his eyes filled with adoration.

Bliss ends up hugging only Alec but that don’t ruins her happy mood.

A suspiciously colour crept up Alec’s cheeks as he cough and pushes the girl away.

“I just don’t want any rumors going on saying that we made friends with a thief.” He said, proud that he came up with an excuse in the matter of seconds.

Bliss hold his hands up with a big smile. “So, you treat me as a friend?”

“That wasn’t the point!” He cried to no avail as Bliss throw her arms at him, pulling him into yet another hug out of excitement.

He sighs, his hands moving up to Bliss’s waist, trying to return her hug but...

Woof!

Annnd...Bliss’s attention is instantly draw towards the strings of barking.

“Oh, Blitz~ I haven’t forgotten about you and Sherlock!” She said, scooping up the pup to eye-level.

She briefly glances over to Eve: “Eve told me if it wasn’t for your help, I wouldn’t have my name clear.”

She hugs Blitz and Sherlock: “You guys are my hero~”

Alec felt his jaw dropped when Blitz casts him a smug glance. He felt something swirls in the pit of his stomach as he stomped back to his seat, arms crossed.

He looked over and Bliss didn’t even realize that he is mad, hell! She didn’t even look his way instead Blitz is totally sneering at him. That sneaky little dog!

Oblivious to Alec’s change of emotions, Bliss felt so blessed.

Apart from Alec’s acceptance of her as a friend, they’ve all helped to clear her name even though their relationship are just friendship that recently blossoms.
