Tan Sao (tahn sao) is a sort of redirecting move. Like most things in wing chun, if you do it well and have good structure, you won't be using power and it's easy.
But, WOW, does it HURT when someone uses it to block you. There's a drill we do which is basically blocking hooks... just Owww DX
