It was another day gone by, the sun went down and the city was illuminated by the lights of the buildings and street lamps, on one of the building sat a young man looking down on the people as they went about their day, the wind gently blowing through his hair, leaning his head back he took a deep breath, "mmm~ the smell of blood is like wine, so many flavors yet not enough time to try them all,...... wouldn't you agree, Mili?" He turned to face a woman wearing a long black cloak, her face resembled a broken doll mask and her voice was smooth, "yes, and I see you've been careless with your hunting"

He let out a chuckle "oh please, I'm not careless, I've been hunting everywhere and look at me, I'm perfectly fine."

She looked at him slightly disappointed at his lack of awareness knowing full well that sooner or later those pesky humans we're gonna send their 'toys' after him

"Why are you here? I told you over and over not to follow me" he looked at her he was clearly irritated, after 13 years of being his guardian she still tried to treat him like he was still a child.

She wasn't bothered by his attitude she simply walked closer, "I made a promise, that I'd take care of you and look out for you" he let out a chuckle, "yeah you did, but I was 8 so of course you had to take care of me, but I'm 23 now, so your no longer obligated to follow me everywhere" "but I promised your moth-" "she's dead"

The words were calm devoid of emotion but Mili knew better then anyone that Akura was just putting up a front, he loved his mother very deeply and could never get over all the sacrifices she made just so he could live, and Mili could not forget how much pain Yumi was in throughout her pregnancy or how her husband begged her to get rid of him just to end the pain.

"Akura.... please, let me stay by your side" he was quiet for a bit but stood up on the ledge of the building, "you know Mili,......"

He turned to face her, showing his dark eyes, "I'm getting really tired of you" with that said he held out his arms and fell back off the building shocking Mili and quickly running to the ledge only to see nothing, just like before, he ran from her, but it was fine because she'd find him again eventually.
