As the wagons came into the town they started heading to the big temple looking building in the middle town. As the rode, Rusty noticed that the houses they passed were dark, meaning there was most likely no one in any of them. It didn’t take long for them to reach the temple building which had a massive intimidating set of double doors, but when they got there they found that like all of the other buildings they passed on their way there, the building was dark with no lights to be seen on the outside or through any of the windows. Once the wagons were fully stopped in front of the building the captain jumped over the back railing and told the rest of the group to stay with the wagons as she and Lawrence went into the building.
“Have you ever been here before?” Rusty whispered to Webs.
“Not personally, but Cloud has so I know some of this place,” Webs replied.
Rusty looked over at Cloud who was still sitting in the back of the wagon in full armor, armor that Rusty hadn’t seen him take off all trip, not even when sleeping, “When did Cloud come here?” Rusty asked.
“Cloud used to be an adventurer wandering from place to place picking up odd jobs until he took an arrow to the knee that is.”
“Wouldn’t that leave him crippled in that leg?”
“I’m just joking on the arrow part, in reality, he used to travel around and take jobs as I said earlier, but he stopped because of the great altering, you read what his ability was in the files I gave you right?” Webs asked.
“I went over them, but I don’t remember much of it. I did only got a night to look over it.”
“Fair enough, heh, would've taken me at least a week to get around to reading them so I see where you're coming from. Do you remember why Cloud wears all that armor?”
“Isn’t it because his bodies really light?”
“Right you are my friend, after Cloud got his ability, his body became extremely light and his blood became a poisonous gas. He wears the armor so that his muscle mass doesn’t become that of a child's, you should see him walk around without armor though, it's almost like he’s floating.”
Just then it started to snow, “Now would you look at that,” said the captain who was now standing a bit away from the wagon behind Rusty and Webs. Rusty jumped a little where he was sitting after the sudden noise from behind while Webs turned to ask what the captain had found, “Well we didn’t find anything in the big building, although it seemed to be their guards main garrison, but nobody was there and we don’t think we’ll find anybody in the town as there weren’t any weapons throughout the whole building, or at least nothing obvious. Lawrence is going to see if anyone's in the houses well I’m going to sta-”
Suddenly Cloud stood up from the back of the wagon, and due of his armor, standing up as suddenly as he did made a rather loud thud on the wagon, which momentarily startled the others. Cloud walked over to the three of them and due to his armor, each of them could hear every step he made clear as day, “Did you say there weren’t any weapons in the building? Did you look in the shrine in the middle of the building?” Cloud asked the captain.
“Yeah, there was nothing in the middle of the building except some big rock.”
“Huh, well I guess it's nothing then,” Cloud said, sounding somewhat excited for some unknown reason after which he headed back to where he was sitting beforehand.
“Wonder what that was about?” asked Rusty.
“Who know,” said Webs with a shrug.
After waiting at the wagons for a few minutes Lawrence eventually returned saying that in all the houses he checked he didn’t find anybody or any trace of anyone in any of the houses he went into, and after some careful consideration from the captain she decided it would be best to stay in the town for at least a day just to see if anyone would show up.

The blizzard was harsh on Sabbath's face, but he didn’t care, all he cared for was vengeance. As his feet sunk into the snow step after step he pondered for a moment the last tie he had eaten or slept, but he had no idea when he last slept or ate, but it didn’t matter, for he would keep wandering until he found them and made them pay. In the distance he saw a light in the darkness, he knew it was them, it had to be, who else would be out here? As he approached the light he saw a small cluster of houses with lights in them, indicating that they were there. As Sabbath walked into the small town he passed a sign that said the place was called “Feather Fall”, which was a real place, but Sabbath knew better than to trust the sign. As he reached the middle of the town he was approached by a man wearing a large fur coat and hat meant to stop the cold of the blizzard from reaching him, at first the man introduced himself and started talking about the town and his people and pointed to a building that looked like an inn, the man must have been trying to act as though he lived in the town, but Sabbath wasn’t listening, for he knew better. Instead, Sabbath moved his left hand to push his cloak to the side to reveal a sword that’s hilt and scabbard seemed to be made of ice which he put his left hand on the hilt, causing him to crack a slight smile as his vengeance was at hand.
The man in front of Sabbath stopped talking when he saw the sword and pointed and began to say, “isn’t that the-” but before the man could his sentence, finish a giant hole appeared in the middle of the man’s chest with blood splattered in the snow behind him, as the man fell to his knees asking why Sabbath would do such a thing in a strained voice, Sabbath took a step forward and unsheathed his sword to perform a single cut, severing the man’s head from his body, causing them to fall to the ground desperately.
After sheathing his sword there was a scream to Sabbath’s right where he saw a woman drop a basket and run into a building, which was soon followed by five men coming at Sabbath from different directions attempting to kill him, or so he assumed as other one men's hands were ablaze, none of them even got to try an attack as they were all taken out in an instant as Sabbath went through them each with his sword. After the men fell to the ground Sabbath heard the doors of several of the different houses open with women with children wearing fur coats like the men attempting to flee into the blizzard, but they weren’t going to get far. Sabbath slowly walked in the direction where he saw one of the women head with a child, where he found the women attempting to climb a wall of ice about four meters high that was not there when Sabbath had entered the town, the child she was with was nowhere to be seen, he would look for it later, after killing the woman, Sabbath went around the now present ice wall killing anyone he found.
After Sabbath believed that all of the people there were dead, he began to leave the town, when he got to the ice wall it shattered before when he got close to it, allowing him to go through. As he began to walk through the blizzard once again, he soon forgot all about the town and became once again consumed by vengeance.

The group decided that they would stay in the temple because they had stables at the side of the building where they could put the wagons and horses, and also because with it seeming like such an important building, it would only make sense that if anyone were to come back to the town then they would head to the temple.
After the wagons were put next to the stables and the animals were put into the stables and fed and watered, their group headed into the building. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary, in fact, the place looked as though it had been recently cleaned. After their group wandered around the building and found some beds to sleep in for the night the captain called for a meeting in a room she found that looked very similar to their own planning room back in West-Rixon.
After everyone was seated the captain began speaking at the front of the room, “We’re going to stay here for the night, and then half of us are going to stay here and wait to see if anyone from here comes back, and the other half is going to visit the nearby villages to see if they know any of what’s happened here and if they know where all the people went, but for now, everyone just go get some rest and relax until tomorrow,” and with that, the group dispersed, with some like Webs and Cloud going to get some sleep, or Rusty who went to go get something to eat, everyone found something to do one way or another as tomorrow loomed on the horizon.
