The old art isn't that bad. If you want to restart the story that's your choice, but I think it'd be best to continue where you left off and itd still be enjoyable. Keep in mind it would take a long time to reach the point you are at right now again. Many comic artists develop as they write their comics, so it's okay if the art looks a bit different with new episodes. But since it's your comic, it's your choice
