"Zack! Do you know who took a piece of cake from the counter?" Mina asks, carrying a tray full of cupcakes and cookies and sets them on the table. Her strawberry blonde hair was tied into two buns on the sides of her head and wore a pink party dress for the occasion.
Zack, who was setting up the welcoming banner, shook his head and started pointing at the living room—where Hunter was taking a nap.
"HUNNNNTER!" Mina yells across the dining area, grabbing one of his ears as he fell off the couch.
"What? It was worth it."
"Sorry Mina... I couldn't stop him."
As light steps are heard coming downstairs, Theodore makes his way to the living room with his sleep mask on his head and duct tape in his hands. His indigo hair was messy, and it clarified who had won the little tug of war that happened upstairs.
"He couldn't keep the dog out, huh?"
The door opens.
"Irvine! Did you bring the drinks?"
"Yes~ Quality ones at that."
"Good! At least someone is getting work done here than a certain SOMEONE." Hunter's ears perk up, he gets off the couch and peeks at the two people at the door.
"I'm on guard yo. Anyways, I remember her scent so I can smell her a mile away."
(I wonder if he smells the cinnamon just a tad bit.)
"Hey Lon, do you remember what time she said she'll be arriving?"
Finally finishing the last of the octopus, I put the little snacks onto the skewers as I look at Hunter.
"Precisely, 4 o'clock. I'd give her 10 minutes to get here although."
"Ah~! I can't wait for her!" Mina chirps.
"Huhu. I hope she's a bella."
(Typical romanticist you are, Irvine.)
"Hands off Irvine, she's taken." Hunter remarks.
"Oh? By whom?"

As I entered the gates of the council dorm, the beauty of it all was so breathtaking to see. It was a two-story building that had flower vines seeping out and reaching to the balcony. The large, modern-glass design of the house made it feel as if a family of five had lived there albeit the curtains being drawn to hide the rooms from the public eye. Walking down the pathway, the rose bushes and sunflowers greeted me near the front porch.
(Cute. So many of them!)
Before I could even touch a flower, a man in a black suit suddenly opens the door.
"GAH!"
"Oh my, did I scare you Ms. Scarlett? My apologies."
"It's fine. Who might you be?" I ask.
Blonde hair and closed eyes close the door and takes a step to the right, the person then bows humbly.
"I am Ness, the butler of the household. I was told by Master London to guard-"
And with immense strength Hunter, who wore an army camo tank top and jeans slams the door open straight into his face.
"He was told to guard the flowers from the LADYBUGS! Right, Ness?"
With the door creaking, a Ness with a black substance running down his nose. "Yes! The ladybugs!"
"Are you okay!?" I shriek. Ness takes out a handkerchief from his pocket, only to wipe off the substance that spilled from his nose.
"I'm alright," he motions towards the entrance. "Now, enjoy your stay Ms. Scarlett!"
As Hunter enters, he urges me to follow him inside. Clean. I noticed that the living room was average-looking with a big flat screen tv and the glass doors that led to the backyard that hosted a large swimming pool and outdoor garden area. A bar was also present in the room that featured a plentiful selection in drinks that were also non-alcoholic. A staircase led up from near the bar which likely lead to the rooms.
"So, this is the living room! By the way, that bar is connected to the dining room too, which is that door over there. Since you saw what the back looks like, you'll explore it later on your own. Let's head over to the kitchen."
Reaching for the knob, Hunter's tail wags and enters the darkened kitchen. He briefly claps, and the lights turn back on.
"SUPRISE!"
I gasp, taken hold back of the sight in front of me. A 'Welcome Scarlett' banner was hung above the fireplace and a huge table with plates full of meat, fish, fruit and many more were right in front of me. A giant, roasted pig laid at the center, making my stomach rumble even more.
"OH! SHE'S. SHE'S A BEAUTY. LONDON, YOU DAMNED BASTARD!"
The man with pink, medium locks awes at me in an admirable fashion as his red orbs turn to glare at the angel himself who was sipping a cup of tea in a black jacket and grey joggers. The pink-haired man had a mole at the right side of his face and wore a white turtleneck alongside denim skinny jeans. He hugs the left side of my arm and happily laughs.
"Not fair Irvine! I want to take a good look at her too!" A girl with strawberry blonde hair and in pink party dress hugs my left side. She looks up at me—her magenta eyes blinded in delight at the sight of me. "Ah, it feels so nice to have another girl here, unlike you baboons."
Hunter appears in front of us, only to flick Mina. "Ow!" she yells. After doing so, he takes a moment to breathe and promptly headbutts Irvine as the pink-haired male falls to the floor, holding his forehead in pain.
"What did I tell you two about overwhelming the new VP!?"
"What did I tell you about eating the cake before the guest arrives?!" Mina asks angrily.
"That's why you got the pain discount," Hunter adds. "Let's eat. I'm pretty sure Scar here is too."
"You're so right. This cake is so good~ Compliments to the chef." I chirp as I take a bite of the chocolate cake on the table. London chuckles, and Hunter confusingly looks for my presence at his front as I tele'd myself on a dining chair.
"Wait, that voice! You sound alot like a streamer I watch..."
"No shit! Zack, that's got to be her my dude."
Two males—one with blue hair and a red jersey while the other with dull green hair and a yellow highlight on his bangs who wore a long sleeve purple v-neck approached the table. "Huh?" I blinked.
"Aren't you the SKAR LIVE?" The green-haired male (Zack, maybe) questions me. He stares me down and I gulp in a piece of cake, hard.
(Uh oh. I think the rats out of the bag.)
"And if I am?" I try to play it off, but my nervous voice crack made it gullible to even believe. If I tried to cloak my voice just earlier before I met anyone, it would be a hard to pull off daily.
"There is no way you aren't the SKAR with that voice of yours! I'm Theodore, a big fan of the channel, nice to meet you!" the one with blue hair exclaims.
"And, that seems to be everyone in the household, Scarlett."
London, who was finished sipping his tea, made his way over to my side and took my left hand and kisses it. Growling is then heard from the floor, and Irvine is silenced by Hunter as he pats him on the head, "It's okay buddy, you'll find yours someday."
"Th-thank you London." I stuttered.
"Anything for a fellow member. Now let's eat, shall we?"
...
"Ah! I'm stuffed!"
I roll on my bed. Before entering my room, my place was neatly organized into a nice arrangement.
"... I need some milk."
Making my way downstairs to the kitchen and grabbing a carton, I walk back but see London with glasses typing something on a laptop as he sat down the living room's sofa.
"And what are you doing here, sir?"
London jumps a little, startled by my sudden appearance. He adjusts his glasses and stares at me, face softening. "Ah, just some leftover documents for the academy's newest club proposal." I take a seat next to him and glance at the laptop screen. 'Fencing Club' it read. Yet in a smaller separate tab, the words 'Famed London H., 36th Mystery Lover?' popped up.
(Was this from last night's little field trip? WAIT. 36TH? I swear these news articles always spill fake tea, but if they think I'm that 36th, jokes on them.)
"I see, I see. So uh, do you need help on anything? Me being the VP and stuff, please ask me for anything, especially at this hour." London nods. "Just a glass of water, poppy."
"Coming up."
