Hadrian collapsed in to the damp grass exhausted. He was still getting used to his new self and powers.
Master are you alright?Asked the snake wrapped around his neck.
"Yes,"he took a deep breath,"verum sui."
He felt the charm lift and he slumped against a tree his eyes felt heavy.
Master where are we?
He peaked and looked into humid air,"I don't know,"Hadrian stumbled onto his feet,"but it feels...........familiar."
Hadrian, with a small wave of his hand, cleared the mist and was greeted with a beautiful sight. The forest was something out of a fairy tale.Trees glistened from the damp air as the sun shown down on its leaves.Insects buzzed and magical butterflies glowed and glittered multiple colors leaving poofs of powder in their wake.It took his breath away.Everything was familiar from the smells of the wet air to the stones embedded into the ground.Everything.
His attention was taken by the largest and thickest tree hes ever seen.
Something caught his eyes,a carving in the tree.He scarped the moss that grow over it and creased his fingers over the words that had been growing out for what seemed like years.
S.S+J.P
S.S and J.P?
Something in him clicked.
Severus and James!
An memory flashed in his so fast he,for a second, stumbled.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
"See this tree sweety,"Asked his mother as he carried baby Hadrian,"this is where your daddy to me on our first date,"He chuckled,"a babbling mess he was."
"That not true,"Defended his father causing his mother to roll his eyes.
"Anyway,"Bringing Hadrian to look at the two of them,"when ever you get lost just find this tree and follow the butterflies they'll guide you home, okay darling?"
Baby Hadrian only babbled his answer.
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Hadrian came back to reality.
Follow the butterflies,His mothers voice echoed in his mind.
And he did just that as a swarm of them appeared landing on him as the snake around his neck became irritated and snapped at them.
The perched and used the needle thin legs to pulled him forward surprising him.
Passing trees and bushes. And animals and insects.
In clearing he saw a cottage, moss covering the wooden pillars holding the porch up.The stain glass glowed in the sunlight. It looked new even thought no one has lived it it for perhaps years. The pure green grass came to his knees and he dance his finger over the blades.Birds perched on the roof tweeting their love song of the day.And bees sucked the honey from the flower beds.
It was so right so familiar.
It filled is heart with something he had when he first entered Hogwarts doors.
Only one thing filled his head.
Home.
Hadrian was home.
