In the end, Frederic Chopin glanced at the poor cat twitching on the floor.

As a young man who rarely left home or went to school due to medical conditions, he was a bit of an 'isolated fellow' who only had enough close friends to count within his five fingers and thumbs.

Even so, he felt pity for the unconscious Calico kitten that was lying on its back, with a big round belly and foam leaking from its small mouth.

If only he wasn't allergic, he would honestly grab the poor Calico cat and take it to the nearest animal doctor... who happened to live right next door.

If only.

"Penny. If you're so great about curing illnesses, why don't you save this kitten from your own food poisoning."

"P-poisoning!? A-absurd! I want to give this kitten a healthy snack! Th-there is no way I would do the opposite of encouraging a nutritious diet!"

"... What did you give him?"

"10 milligram of Salamander Claw. Two Cups of Tasmanian Down. Three Quartz of Bamboo Fluid. A pinch of Bat Stomach Wax. And Swallow's Saliva... What!? It's a delicacy in the countries in the East! It's sold by the millions and makes a woman's skin incredible smooth? See? Touch my cheek! Go on!"

"Isn't it obvious? To double the cat's life span... and minty breath!"

On that day, the Witch was charged for food poisoning. The cat was saved by the animal doctor next door and was taken to an animal shelter.

A total of 500 zlotych (Polish Currency = 175.66 CAN Dollars), was paid. The majority of the cost went into sterilize the house of fish scales and cat fur.

The Witch spent the rest of her life in solitary confinement, hopefully 10 yrs.

"CHOP-CHOP! I'M SORRY! PLEASE! LET ME OUT OF THIS BARREL! I-I PROMISE I'LL BE A GOOD GIRL AND NOT POISON LITTLE KITTENS OR PUPPIES WITH MY ELIXIRS OF LIFE! PLEASE! LET ME OUT! LET ME OUT OF THIS D*MN BARREEEEEEEEEEEEEEL!"
