There used to be a little boy living in US countryside.

They had to use an old blanket due to lack of material for warm, and the little boy hated it because it was very hot in the summer, cold in the winter and always stinking. Their cabin home was sitting on the shore of a stream, and the boy decided that one day he would throw the blanket into the water.

One day after a spring rain, the creek swollen and rushed rapidly, so the boy decided to throw the blanket into the creek today and his parents definetly couldn't find it back. He look around and found no body around,then he threw it out of the window. Finally, the blanket fell into the creek and drifted away. He was so happy that his father will buy a new blanket for this spring of new year.

That night, his father told him that they would go to the woods after dinner. Knowing that meant spanking, the little boy asked why...

Dad replied: "Someone threw the blanket to the creek today. It was you, wasn't it, son?"

The boy replied yes.

Then he thought for a moment and said, "Dad, I read at school today that George Washington cut a cherry tree and didn't have trouble because he told the truth..."

Dad replied, "Well, son, George Washington's father was not in that cherry tree at night!"
