Yes, Mothers' Day was yesterday, but there's no rule that says comic strips about it can't appear the day after... is there? I hope not.
Rabbits do eat flowers, which is good because I didn't know that until after I'd written the punchline. I made sure to look it up so it was accurate. They like to eat flowers, so I'm sure Tina's mom appreciated the gift.
