The year was 2005, all the Gods everyone thought they believed in had abandoned them for the worse, it was a war-torn massacre, and it was as if you could still hear the scream from many years before. The buildings and cities were broken down and in shambles, but from all the bloodshed and dust a warrior arose, the bravest of them all, a girl who was trained for this from birth, her skill with a sword was incomprehensible, but she was 200 miles underground. This all started 10 years ago when the United Nations decided that they didn't want peace anymore, they wanted the end of the world, they were so powerful that no one could overthrow them, they began in the U.S., they dropped over 100 bombs in every which direction and blew them off the map. Then they moved to Germany, France, Spain, everywhere you looked they was destruction. At the time Mitara was only 8-years-old, a small girl with a big heart, her mother left when he was young and her father was the leader of a Japanese mafia so she didn't see him often. She had nothing better to do everyday, so one day when she picked up a sword she that that feeling would never grow old. She swung, and immediately it was like the world never existed, and that was the harsh reality. Her father swooped her up like an eagle going for it's prey. He ran down stairs for what felt like eons, she though it would never end. Suddenly they came upon a door, it was old and tarnished and looked like it hadn't been used since Imperialist Japan, and it slid open with a creak. Inside were different guns, swords, and weapons that she had never seen before, there were rows stacked with food and everything was okay. Above ground the Earth never stopped shaking for 7 years straight, and for 7 years straight she trained, her father commanding each move, "Strike!" he would yell, and if she fell short he would say, "Duty before self, get the job done before you show your enemy sympathy my daughter." And so she listened, and with that she became a force no one could bring down. One night her and her father were eating and he said, "If there is anyone who could forever change the world from the way it is now it's you, from the very first time I saw you pick up that sword I knew you were destined for great things." "But father," she said, "I haven't seen above ground in years, we have no idea what's even walking around up there, baka ni shinaide." Don't be foolish.
