I don't know if it was intentional, but the ombre from white to dark grey behind the panels really brings out the mood change. It goes from being rather cheerful to... dreadful and disappointed? Well done! Despite the lack of an internal monolog on Charlie's part, you can almost guess the thoughts and feelings beneath the surface. Thank you for the lovely (although a bit heart-breaking) update dear author/artist <3
