Everyone was just reading the latest juicy gossip, discussing and giggling over their morning tea.

Normally, Alec Chance will rolled his eyes and walk away when the maids gather together to gossip over something stupid like the royal knight and the lady of some house is having an affair or the royal and idol is dating by the beach. This kind of thing is just a waste of time for someone like him, since his schedule are too packed to be wasted on something like this.

But, this time it is different. He doesn’t know what came over him.

It was just like any other mornings. Alec wakes up and did his morning routine like usual, normally he would start his workout at the training room in the mansion. He doesn’t know what came over him, but when he saw the sun rays trickle through the window, it sort of remind him of...

He shakes his heads, slapping his cheeks, earning a shocking glance from his maid.

“What are you looking at? I certainly did not just think about her!” Alec grumpily stomps into the bathroom.

The maid eyes’ twitches;I didn’t even say anything. And who is her? Oh my god~ Did the young master just have a little crush? OMG! This is so exciting! I can’t wait to tell the others. 

Oblivious to the maid’s assumptions, Alec is in shock at how red his face is and kept on splashing cold water to his face.

Mr Ollie had been a butler in the Chance House for years, so long that he couldn’t remember how long was it. He had the privilege to see the two young masters grow up and both grew up to be fine men. However, little young master had been acting exceptionally odd ever since he came back from Arcane City.

From earlier till now, Alec had been constantly blushing, shaking his heads, mumbling something he desperately trying to hear but couldn’t figure out what he is saying. Mr Ollie is confused with little young master’s actions, like right now Alec is jogging, shaking his head, then he suddenly screams something awfully like ‘Get out of my head!’, then he sprint forward causing a wind to blew through.

Mr Ollie calmly smooth his messy hair due to the blow of wind caused by his little young master, he is still confused but his thoughts never reflect on his face. Hence, he knew behind his back, he had a nickname Mr Ollie-The Poker Face. [ (･-･) <- Mr Ollie’s only expression.]

“Ollie, what is brother doing? Is this a new type of training?” Dustin Chance lightly pull on Ollie’s sleeve, head tilting a little to the side.

As soon as Mr Ollie look down and his gaze met with Dustin’s big round eyes, his heart directly melt.

On the inside, Ollie is squealing about Dustin’s cuteness but on the outside his expression remains (･-･)

“Baby young master, I...” Ollie was building his sentence when a maid came over with a tray of snacks.

“Ah! Perhaps, Miss Polly can give us some insights as to why little young master is acting peculiar.”

Miss Polly, the maid that was attending to Alec earlier in the morning. As soon as she heard what Ollie said, a glint appears in her eyes ✧(≖ᴗ≖✿) , a sheepish smile spread across her lips.

“Baby young master, look! It’s your favourite magic creatures cookies~ Fresh from the oven.”

“Yay~” Dustin’s eyes went wide, sparkling at the sight of his favourite snacks, totally forgetting about Alec.

After Polly help Dustin to the chair, she instructs another maid to attend to him and pulled Ollie to the side, a few steps away from Dustin.

“Hehehe~”

That morning in the corner of the garden, the two exchange their great findings regarding their little young master. Excited squeals and fangirl type of giggles could be heard, but most thought that would be impossible since one of them is Mr Ollie-The (･-･).

The whole time, Dustin had been stealing glances at Polly and Ollie with a confused expression plastered on his face. He cast Molly an innocent questioning glance which Molly response with an awkward smile.

That day, Dustin just had one question in his mind that keeps on bothering him.

A cold shower is what Alec needed to cool himself down.

He hums as he skip down the hall to the dining room to have breakfast, earning himself confuse and shock gazes along the way.

Maids and butlers on the hallway: *exchanging glances*

Maid A: *whispered* Did little young master just skip down the hallway?

Butler B: And he is humming?!

Butler C: Yes, I double checked.

Maid D: You double checked?

Maids and butlers :*wink and cast Polly questioning gaze as she pass by* What is wrong with little young master?

Polly: ✧(≖ᴗ≖✿) *push down the urge to have a gossip party right then and there* Heheheheheee

Maids and butlers: ?????

Alec swings the door open and Noah raised a brow at his rarely beaming smile.

“Did something good happens?” Surely it wasn’t because of their outing today, Noah came over because they both plan to go out to purchase some equipment for the upcoming entry exam.

Alec: “?”

“You’re smiling.”

“I always smile. I’m a healthy cheerful boy.” Alec said, as Polly hands him that day’s paper not realizing that she accidentally hands him her Daily Gossip.

But, it was too late.

Alec was sipping his milk when his eyes landed on the gigantic photo and the headline on that paper.

His hands trembles as he quickly flip through the pages and read every sentences of that news. He felt something boiling in the pit of his stomach.

Noah hold up his plate of breakfast, seeing that Alec is causing an earthquake on the dining table.

Alec slam the paper on the dining table and takes in a huge gulp of his milk.

Noah silently takes a peek at the paper, then he take it in his hands quietly going through Daily Gossip.

Then, at the bottom of the headline and title are a series of photos. But the one that Alec finds most annoying is the one with the both of them gazing into each other eyes, Ethan is looking lovingly towards Bliss and Bliss returned his loving gaze with a bright smile.

A devilish smirk crept up Noah’s face as he slowly set down the newspaper. “They do look nice with each other.”

Alec slam the table at his words, standing up, snatching the newspaper from the table. Under Noah’s surprising expression and Polly’s shocking gasp, he burned it into ashes.

Polly screams internally, Nooooo. Our minutes together were short, super short but I will always remembers you, my Daily Gossip. (ಥ﹏ಥ) But, your sacrifice is honorable, since I just got myself an insight into little young master’s crush! How exciting~!

Polly rubs both of her palms together chuckling silently, her eyes glinting as she stared at Alec. ✧(≖ᴗ≖✿) She did a quick exchange with Ollie and he instantly read her message, the same glint appears in his eyes.

Alec felt a shiver down his spines when he saw the way both Polly and Ollie is looking at him, he felt like a lab rat in the observatory.

He vacuum his breakfast and motioned Noah to the door. With that, he stormed out the door like something is chasing him at the back.

With their little young master out of sight, the two gather around and start their gossiping session.

Noah let out a breath of laughter at the sight, shaking his head.
