“Hey guys,” came Daaku as he came back into the church. He stopped several feet from them, seeing the unconscious young man. “…Who is that?” Abyss shrugged. Daaku just slowly nodded, not wanting to press the matter since the two couldn’t speak. “Anyway, Abyss. You’re going to stay with me for a few days. Araiso.”

Araiso slowly looked up from his spot, sitting in a far dark corner.

“You’ll be staying with Kasei.” Daaku said, crossing his arms with a thought. “I’ll call him every day to make sure things are going all right. Kay?” He looked to Abyss, “Let’s go.” Abyss nodded, pointing to the unconscious one. “…What? He a friend of yours?” Abyss just nodded again.

Araiso watched as Abyss and Daaku carried the other out of the room without much fuss. He didn’t move for a bit, lowering his head into his knees.

After a good hour to prep himself mentally for the rudeness he’d suffer from Kasei, Araiso got up and left to walk his way back to Kasei’s house. He walked with his head down, listening to the people who spotted him. It was much worse this time than when he’d first arrive.

“Didn’t I see him last week?”

“I think so… Same blue hair.”

“Really, who dyes their hair blue?”

“That’s so stupid.”

“It’s kind of cool.”

“But blue- it’s ugly.”

“Look at those clothes he’s in! What rags!”

Araiso stopped on the sidewalk in front of Kasei’s house, not even looking up to it. All the words that echoed in his mind were negative.

“Ugly!” “Freak!” “Monster!”

He thinned his eyes.

Daaku picked up the ringing phone. Abyss was next to him on the floor of his bedroom, poking the mystery man with a stick to wake him up.

“Hello?”

“Daaku.”

“Oh, hi, Kasei.” Daaku nodded, “What’s up?”

“You said that guy with blue hair would meet me here.”

“Yeah.”

“Well he’s not here.”

Daaku blinked, “He’s not…?”

“Nope.”
