I had been planning this prank ever since I got comments from readers asking why the characters in the comic weren't just humans.
Even still, I think these redesigns demonstrate how integral the anthropomorphic designs are to the identity of the story.
While don't see myself fitting under the internet definition of "Furry" I do think some attitudes towards people who draw anthro-characters to be unwarranted. To clarify, no matter what people say, the character designs will remain as they have been.
In all seriousness, to those of you who return with every update and send me encouragement for the comic. Thank you so much! No matter how small, your support fuels my drive to continue this story.
And to those of you who are new, please consider creating a free Tapas account and adding Flora and Fauna to your library. It'll really help me out.
