A young boy disappeared 6 years ago. His name was Wilson Haglar. The boy disappeared one late night after a fight between his parents, causing him to run out into the wilderness near his home. When his parents went to search for him all they found was a handful of torn cloth from the jacket he was wearing when he ran. A report was made and the woods were searched, but nothing came of it, and his case was closed. But when a well-known detective decided’s to re-open the case, he opens a path to a world he does not yet understand.
Meanwhile, the young boy named Wilson is wandering around in the realm he was taken to, being forever watched and cared for by an unknown entity he simply calls ‘Nix’. Despite being protected Wilson gets into mischief often, being quite the handle for ‘Nix’ as he tries his best to keep him safe.
But, when something new threatens the realm Nix does everything in his will to keep him away from harms path, though he knows that he cannot stop the inevitable, simply prolong it.
