Mysterious happenings at St Antony hospital

Chapter 3: Reached the destination.

Chapter 3: Reached the destination.

Apr 06, 2019

Later they collected their bags from the luggage counter. Booked taxi to the outskirts of city Lugano, from there it nearly took one day in reaching the island sailing by ship. Fortunately, Daisy reached there at the right time. It was a fabulous one; never seen such a place one would quote when one is over there. The leaves that are barred by trees were so fresh and gleaming such that the morning dew reflects the rays of the sun. Each plant had vivid flower giving its own fragrance showering the whole island. The trees are so tall, with a thick, brown stem with broad leaves. The place was vast that one may even get lost in the woods. It has huge, high and short hills. They first spotted a place and settled there, while Tarah and Pearlie were busy in constructing tents, Paula and Rafaella unrolled a mat on the ground, sat leisurely they had a lot of fun, spend their time in screaming and shouting. They enjoyed thoroughly by roasting the hen's eggs and drinking water from the brook.

“Do you know something? ‘Cried Paula

“How do we know, unless you say?” stated Tarah

“My cousin told me, a myth it is that people who are born especially on 29 Feb, could vision a fairy that would let that person wish once in their lifetime.”

“That’s so nice!”

“What if we got the chance to?” said Rafaella.

“I would ask the fairy in making my operation successful.” Said Pearlie.

Among voices of them, someone with a shrill voice said

“Hey! Something is striking in my mind yeah… I got to remember… yes, yes THE PATIENT of course”.

“Have you called Mr. James, why don’t you enquire Tarah?”

‘Oh! Come on Daisy, not very pleasing, now is not the time to discuss it, we have to wipe it off from our mind for some time “replied Pearlie

“‘PATIENT’! Which patient? Let me know please.” Sakshi asked in curiosity.

“No! No…it’s nothing, leave it “said Tarah in refusing voice.

“Don’t hide from me anything? “said Sakshi

“You made me curious and I am eager to know please…”

“You request me so much that I must reveal the truth, “said Daisy sitting belatedly on the ground and leaning a huge banyan tree as she couldn’t reject her proposal.
