I always wonder how certain cultures and groups name themselves, or how languages are named. I figure it's a lot more boring than we would imagine it should be. It wouldn't be surprising to me to have more than one culture with a language that just meant "language" in an earlier dialect or something, or a name for themselves that just meant "people" or even "us."
