Learning to be Lazy Together

I often make these intricate travel plans, making a list of all the things I want to do and places I want to visit following friends advices or google searches... without taking into account the logistic of getting there or how much time we have. Thankfully, my boyfriend is very good at taking care of those details for me. At the end of the day, we're just happy to be spending the time together, so we're both ok with shortcutting plans to simply enjoy little pleasures along the road, even if it means not checking out the main touristy landmarks.

This sounds like what I've heard international tourist often run into when visiting California (where I'm from). They're like "OK I want to go see Hollywood, and San Francisco, and the redwoods, and go skiing in Yosemite... not realizing that each of these places are like a 5+ hours drive *one way* from each other. California is HUGE, lol.
