After the explosion I open my eyes to a black space devoid of light, it was like I had been thrown into a deep Black Ocean. Afraid that I might drown I immediately stretch out my Hands in an attempt to keep myself from drowning but then my outstretched hand was blocked by something. In a fit of Terror i immediately punch my free hand out into the void.

' crackle creak crack'

With the sound of glass breaking I an the contents inside are flushed out on to Stone floor. Laying down my face flat on the floor I make an attempt to put strength into my arms but f a i l to stand up. then looking down I'm shocked to see that looking at me was a face resembling my own, a young boy no more than 18 years old. Looking at me his Crimson eyes on full display, his white hair almost Illuminating the room.

In disbelief I pinch my cheeks but jump in fright when the boy responded in kind. it was then that I realized that I was looking at my own reflection.

'Ouch' jumping back from kneeling in position I hit my head and what seems to be a large cylindrical structure. seeing this I realize that I was in a dark decrepit Stone room, sprawled on the ground with a variety of unidentifiable and strange objects. on the ground where broken test tubes there contents long spilt on the ground only leaving stains behind.

Various old and rusted mechanical devices ,tools and other strange devices lied on the ground of this dusty room with a big rusty iron door blocking the entrance, looking at all these things I suddenly came to the realization that I was entirely but naked.

WTF what the hell is going on confused by the general situation I pushed all the thoughts to the back of my mind and began rummaging around the room in order to find something that I could wear to cover my privates. but at the end was only able to find enough cloth the cover my lower half.

"Why am I not at the hospital, wtf wasn't i just in a burning building, do i have life insurance cuz I haven't gotta a clue~" unable to understand my circumstance I approach the giant door. The door was about 3 meters tall, even though it was rusted it still looks sturdy enough," well ready as I'll ever be" I approached the door placing my arms on its surface an preparing to use all my strength to push it open but just then with a 'Bang' the iron door fell to the ground creating web like cracks and a dust cloud on the floor below it.

Cough cough cough, what the hell, looking through the Dust clouds and peeking into the passageway I could see a dim light coming from the end of the passage. Mustering up my confidence I begin walking down the passage to investigate the light but what I saw shocked me to the Core, at the end of the passage I stand at the entrance looking up into the desert sky. There two moons floated in the sky, shining so brightly almost to announce their presence with their light shining on my feet.and like a big F.u to my life, Below the two moons was a ruined City cake by an ocean of yellow sand.An abundance of Shifting Shadows roamed what used to be roads in the night in attempts to hunt each other in the Darkness.

Looking at the beautiful sight of Chaos i could feel nothing else but a sense of bewilderment.

Author's notes: Hey guys first i want to thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy. Second I want to say that even though this chapter sounds like a classical an average light novel opening but it sounds so because after 25 attempts of typing and retyping the same chapter over and over again I got tired. So this is how the story ended up because I'm trying to at least release a chapter every week and I finally run out of time which results in the mC being bland and uninteresting. I don't know you tell me how you take the mC acts in this chapter in the comments.
