Scene 1:
There is a competition of speeches going on for 1st standard (6 years old) students. All students, parents, and teachers are listening to the speech of a kid. He speaks loudly, clearly, with such confidence and the words in his speech were so powerful that it kinder a fire in everyone’s heart. It was about Mahatma Gandhi, the father of our nation.
As soon as the speech ends, there is huge applause and everyone seemed to be mesmerized by the speech given by a small kid.
Scene 2: Let’s forget what happened here
There is a guy in his 20s, somewhat fat, sitting on a bed, leaning onto a pillow, you wouldn’t call it if it’s sitting or sleeping, with clothes and books scattered around him. With such an awkward position, he is immersed in the laptop, with earphones plugged is watching an anime.
His Mom shouts out to him, “Likith, Likith, come for lunch”
Looking at the playtime, with still 10 minutes remaining he replies back, “Mom give me 5 minutes I’ll be there”
After 15 minutes he reaches the dining table and his Mom asks him ”How long are you going to study in the laptop? It will strain your eyes, try reading from books also”
“Yeah, yeah, whatever, you can’t find that matter in books” He replies
Guess what? Both persons are one and the same; the kid who got praised ends up a young guy who cheats his parents.
This is just a normal stupid story of a boy from a middle class family which everyone experiences in their lives, not that it’s something great, but it tells the story of an idiot who thought he could achieve anything in his life and experience all things at least once in life but ends up with a life of compromise of everything.
