The Perfect Body:

As previously stated, God Emperor Hannah postulated that all people could fit into one of five categories. 1. Those that favored creativity and will. 2. Those that favored the material and bodily possessions. 3. Those that favored the emotions. 4. Those that put cold reason and might above all. 5. Everyone else.

The first four categories were given bodies in stages, to allow for some flexibility, but to also allow the homogeneity that would let them be part of a group. There was something to aspire to, to climb towards.

As for group five- they were given the option to design their own body, or to have God Hannah design it for them. At first people chose bodies of incredible beauty, and utter perfection.

However a shocking fact was quickly discovered. If everyone could have a "perfect" body, then people grew bored with their bodies very shortly. After all the "perfect" body didn't give any advantages that other designs may be able to confer. Health, youth, wealth, even gender or race were easily changed attributes.

The citizens of group five began to experiment. Somewhat excessively.

So that there was some stability a rule was put in place that the body and face could only be changed every four (4) years. Abilities could transfer of course- given as rewards by God Hannah, quest rewards, or "luck" (also God Hannah)

There is no accounting for taste- but you can account for the fact that people like to make things "their own". Especially the body they dwell in.

A later rule had to be put in place to stop the somewhat excess display of faces and limbs shaped like genitalia as portrayed in fig. 42
