A little historical note: In the medieval period imprisonment wasn't a commonly used punishment - instead people would pay fines, get corporeal punishment (like flogging), public shaming, and, quite often, the death penalty.
My boy Sebastian is being very naive here. I remember old tales of the devil escaping imprisonment by playing the pity party with good hearted strangers. Or maybe he is doing the right thing!
Witches, monsters, werewolves - this is all just medieval superstition right? Sebastian, a young Hospitaller Knight has recently learned there can be truth in superstition. And he learned it the hard way - by getting turned into a vampire. To his surprise his Order still has use of him however, and of others like him....After all what better way of facing monsters, than having some of your own?
