Sorry for the late update! My computer is over at a tech fixer-upper, so I have very limited access to computers at the moment.

The worst in that, I think, is that half of the time they don't even seem to know it can be removed. Or when we watch the videos on youtube and they leave the cursor on the time bar, and so the time bar is always up.
