Footsteps echo as the three turn to the footsteps.
“Let’s get going.” Haru said. Filly lets go and the three head down a long hall of cobblestone and torches.
“So...we’re In this...Castle Lova?” Lo asked. Haru nodded as they headed up stairs.
“Correct, we’re a part of rogues who cast by the ruler of this castle to protect the land of Pacum Bellum.” Haru explained. Lo heaved lifting the newly found heavy dress up the stairs.
“Well, you did a great job. Running away from danger.” Lo heaved.
“We saved you, didn’t we?” Filly said. Lo glared
“Coincidence.” Lo spat back. They reach the top and Lo is panting.
“That’s enough exercise for today.” She heaved. Filly smirked.
“Aww, does princess need some beauty sleep?” Filly asked. Lo turned cross. They open a old wooden door to a empty space with but only a bed.
“Here’s the guest room, you can stay for the night, then we’re kicking you out.” Haru said.
Filly glared at Haru.
“What!? But we found a magical thing! I wanna study her.” Filly said grumpily.
Haru sighed and turned to Filly. He crosses his arms and leans against the wall.
“Look, any longer and then a day and we’ll need to ask our queen If she can stay.” Haru said. Lo’s face scrunched.
“Okay what the hell, Pacem Bellum has no queen.” Lo said awkwardly sitting on the bed, annoyed at her dress. She looked down at It’s frilliness. Haru turns and smirks.
“Ah, It’s got one. We’re trying to set up a n-” Haru stammered before blushing and looking away.
“Oh shoot, shouldn’t be telling strangers royal secrets.” Haru hummed. Lo glared heavily.
“Well now you gotta tell me jackass!” Lo yelled annoyed. She slowly stood up as her dress visibly stretched out an inch more. It bounced a bit. Filly went wide eyed and smiled.
“Wow! It’s doing the magic thing again!” Filly cheered. Lo looked down at her dress and groaned.
“Why does It keep doing that!?” Lo yelled annoyed. Haru stood there before smiling to himself, coming up with a theory, but not yet sharing.
“Regardless, we should meet with the queen. If you truly wish to have a stranger here longer than normal, we must ask quickly.” Haru mentioned. Filly nodded and grabbed Lo’s hand, who slapped It away quickly.
“I can walk on my own….!” Lo said before almost tripping over her dress. The two chuckle silently as they lead her down empty halls. She clicks In that they are in some kind of castle. But for a castle, It felt run down, and super empty.
They arrived to a throne room. White dusty pillars, on the verge of falling lined the carpet to a large silver chair. A lady with long brown hair and pink eyes In a purple dress sat there. Her skin was pale and her body thin.
Haru and Filly bow, while Lo stands there and awkwardly crosses her arms annoyed.
“My my, who Is this?” The queen asked In a soft tone.
“A magical person we found that we wa-” Filly started before the queen boldly ran from her chair and squeezed Lo’s cheeks.
“The prophecy Is true!” She gasped. Haru and Filly’s faces went pale with confusion.
“What!?” Lo stammered flabbergasted as she wiggled trying to escape her grasp. The queen had a very strong grip.
“The lost princess has come to bring joy to the kingdom!” The queen shouted.
Lo went wide eyed.
“WOAH! WHAT!? I AIN’T A STINKING PRINCESS!!!”
