In Wiccan Magical heritage, giving birth to twins is nearly unheard of and other multiples impossible. The growth of the child’s magic in the womb often causes one or both of the twins to die, and if any more than two children are conceived the mother will die before any of the children have grown to the point of surviving outside of the womb. It is important to note that other supernatural races do not have this association with Multiple births. Most carry multiple children with no issues, though Mages cannot carry more than one child in a pregnancy at all. The rarity of the twin bond makes the twins born as being seen as a blessing to the coven. When both of a twin set survive, they are said to have a special bond that links their powers together in unique ways. They often share dreams, interacting there as if they were awake. They also have the instinctual ability of scrying with each other using any reflective surface that can be just as clear as using blessed scrying objects if they focus on the scrying itself. It is also said that due to sharing the womb, they can give their power over completely to the other twin for short periods of time without needing normal power melding methods used by non-twin Wiccans.
