Chase's POV:

While I was sleeping, my phone suddenly started ringing. It is from an unknown number. I then searched for my phone and later found it. I picked my phone up and......

Chase: Hello...... ( In a sleepy tone)

?????? : .............

Chase: Hello(raising my voice) .... Who's this?

?????? : .............

( I thought it was Hailey again....)

Chase: Hailey! Stop all this. I already told you that I don't want to talk to you anymore. I am not ready to listen to all the shit you say. Stop trying to give me suggestions about Helena...( In an angry tone)

???????: What? Hailey!

No.... Chase. This is Jason.

Chase: Jason..... Oh my God! You? It's been a very long time since we spoke with each other. How are you man?

Jason: Hey! I'm fine. How about you?

Chase: I'm good, Jason...

Jason: Would you like to have a surprise Mr.Chase ?

Chase: Jason! Are you here?( With lots of excitement)

Jason: Just come out and open your door...man!

Chase: Holy.......!

( I rushed to open the door)

I saw him outside waiting for me to open the door. He's looking just the same he was before. He wore a black jean with a matching white t-shirt and a brown jacket on it. By the way, he's my best friend. I shared almost everything with him. He's our family friend too. He too works in our company. But a few months back, he went on to New York on our company's business purpose.

As soon as I opened the door, I hugged him very tightly. I missed him very badly . I always wanted to tell him about Helena. But, I think it's the right time to say all that happened in the past 3 months. I was very happy to see him after a long time. We both went inside. I asked him when he returned from New York and how did he knew that I was here.He then told me that he returned this evening from New York and my father informed him that I was here. He also said that he has been waiting to meet me.

We spoke for a very long time. Then he asked me ,

" Chase, Who's Helena?"

Since , I cannot hide anything from my best friend, I told him the complete story of ours right from the moment we met in the local train to the last moment I saw her. I told him how deeply I love Helena. By the way,he knew the complete story of how I got cheated by Hailey. So, he asked me if I still had contacts with Hailey. I said no. He then asked me why I thought it was Hailey speaking on the phone when he called me. Then slowly I told him, how Hailey is trying to create disputes between us. After listening to all this, he got a complete view of the present scenario here. We had a pause there.

" So.... You're going to confess your love to Helena tomorrow, right?" , Jason added.

Hmm! Yes. Oh come on Chase! That sounds great. He tried to tease me. "Feeling shy ,man! Stop it....", I said.

I've been telling him about Helena from the moment he came here. When I looked at the wall clock it was 12 am.

"Oh! It's late", I said.

He asked me if he could come to the meeting today. Infact he wanted to meet Helena after listening to all that I said.

"Hm! That's fine. I don't have any problem with that. ", I said.

He felt happy with my answer. With lots of excitement,he started saying,

" We'll do this. We'll do that " , and started planning.......

"Hey! Enough man! Don't play your cheap thrills there....", I said. Later,we started laughing.

I also told him not to reveal anything until I confess my love towards her. He agreed for everything and later we slept.

Helena's POV:

It was 3 o' clock in the morning. I was little tensed about how I'm gonna present my designs today in the meeting. I actually didn't had proper sleep last night because I've been crying over Chase's issue. It was cool outside. So,very quickly I had a hot shower.

Later I opened my cupboard. I was totally messed up with making the right choice. I began thinking what to wear and which would be fine for the meeting. After searching through my cupboard, I found one which is a combination of a white shirt with a jacket over it and a formal black pant. I finally decided that this would be the best suited.

I applied a little foundation and straightened my dark brown hair and tied it into a ponytail. I then took all my luggage and reached the airport. I met my manager Mr. Harry there. After the completion of all the formalities at the airport, we entered the plane.

Mr.Harry sat beside me and he wished me good luck for the presentation.He also said that he was happy for my designs. This gave me a sense of relief. He then told me about the company with which we're dealing with and how important this project is...., for us. He finally said that it's time for me to prove myself and fulfill my responsibilities. Mr.Harry ,then spoke with the remaining staff. I tried to bring in courage in myself . This was really a great opportunity. So, at any cost , I need to do this. I thought , I shouldn't think about Chase while the meeting goes on.

We landed in Los Angeles in a few hours. We then went into a famous hotel there. I reached my room and freshened myself. I was informed that we're going to start at 9 am here to reach the the office there. I prepared myself as it was my first big project. I then came downstairs to meet my staff. We started at the hotel then.....
