Hiding the fear, hiding the pain

Hiding the tears that fall like rain.

Saying I'm ok, though I'm not

And maintained a smile without being caught....

Walking in the lane, biting my chain

I tried to move forward again.

But what scared me is the terrible thought

Of the silence that made me lastly to trot....

Harder and harder I tried to gain

The courage and strength like a country swain.

The fear in me was finally fought

And I moved ahead without any thought.......
